Four Paws Earth’s FINEST Cat Litter, Premium Clumping, Lightweight, Absorbent Formula 3.6 Pounds

I have to ditto some of the others reviewers who have said Earth’s Finest Litter gets rock hard, sticks to litter box like cement, and has slightly unpleasant earthy smell. I’ve never experienced anything like this before with clump litter and I’ve used various brands of clump litter. I have to literally chisel the wet litter out of the litter box, scratching the box, and it is often difficult to do because it gets so hard. I have metal scoopers and the wet litter really adheres it then is very difficult to get off the scoopers, even with them under the bathtub faucet using hot water: I had to scrape two metal scoopers together very hard as I tried to chiseled the litter off the other one. Took me more than 5 minutes to do. I don’t think you could ever use plastic scooper with this litter without breaking them as you push hard to scrape hardened wet litter out of box or try to get stuck litter off of them. It has a sandy consistency when dry and is very fine (it does track). I also didn’t care much for the smell which is a bit outdoorsy. Only my youngest 1-1/2 year old cat likes using this litter, but my other 2 older cats never set foot in it. The litter is very absorbent and a 12 pound bag lasted about two months for one kitty but I can’t recommend this litter. Very disappointing.

First of all let me say I have 4 well 7 rescued cats living in one bedroom apartment plus obviously my husband and I, We have 3 adults , 1 that it’s half kitty and half adult with 9 months old and 3 kittens we are “fostering”, yeah we are so keeping the kittens 😅 , I love animals I really do and my husband God bless his patience loves me and always supports my crazy pet friendly choices, soooo Everyone out there with a multiple cat household knows cat pee smell it’s a huge ,problem , we tried clay litter for a few years but the dust that came with it 😳 and pollution 😵 , anyway then we started to explore more eco friendly options, we tried, coconut litter , corn litter , OMG the coconut was the worst, the armonía smell was AWFUL ; then there were a lot of litter options that were eco friendly but toooo pricy for our budget because again we have a lot of fur babies that have sensitive stomachs and eat special dry food sooo again on a budget, so I was about to give up, then we Came acrossed this amazon litter eco friendly it is by FAR I’m not joking it is by far the best litter I have ever used !! There is no smell at all !! It was mind blowing to see this tiny pebbles (I added picture so you can see the tiny pebbles) soak up all the pee in seconds and become a clump in about a minute or so , Amazed because there is no no pee smell at all , and the poop smell as long as they cover it , it’s gone it’s like we have no pets in the house , so please use it I recommend this litter with all my animal loving heart , since I have several fur babies I use almost 2.5 bags of this litter per month

1 week later edit: Just a note about the clumping. It is very tight. So tight that if you cat is a side pee er, it will stick like glue to the inside sides. Easy remedy is spray your clean box with Pam or similar. The clump will slide off intact and very easily. This will not harm your cat,Also, if you have an issue with the litter being shoveled out of the box because your front side is lower than your back side, turn the box around. I had to do this. The cats are used to shoveling one direction and now it stays in the box. I admit, I was skeptical. I'd been using a Fresh Step for a number of years. I think they changed the formula as it started sticking to my litter boxes. I switched to Crystal's and found myself changing out the entire box about every 4 days. Then I searched for something different and came upon this litter. I was put off by the price a bit but if it did what it said, I would be saving money in the end.First thing I noticed was an odor when opening the bag. It was not unpleasant, just different.Next I saw that the litter had the consistency of fine sand. I measured out the recommended level for one of the boxes. Next day, I detected no odor from the room I have the boxes in. As I scooped out the poo, for the first time in a very long time, my cats had buried it.As advertised, the litter compactly, tightly absorbed the urine. That's what really sold me. No small pieces falling back into the box. At this point, I see no reason to throw out any of this litter. The box stays quite clean. I will if course clean the boxes themselves on occasion.I'm very happy with this purchase.

EDIT OVER A WEEK LATER: I am 100% sold on this litter. I've only ever used clay litter, but I'm gonna make the switch now. My cats seem to almost prefer this litter to the clay, they've actually started peeing in the fully transitioned poop box, and the clumps are perfect. They don't stick to the box, and they're tight and I don't have to chisel them. I'm starting to transition the other box now, and the clumps mix a little oddly with the clay clumps, but nothing terrible.OG post:This is cat litter so I'm not going to be coy with my writing. I have 2 cats, they both use one litter box to pee in and one litter box to poop in. Right now I am in the process of transitioning the poop box, I figured I would just do 1 box in case they didn't take to the litter.So far so good! The cats have had no problem with the transition! In fact one of my cats doesn't like burying poop, but now she is (maybe it's the natural scent of the litter getting her to bury it?)The litter is SUPER light, which is much easier than the 50lb bags of clay litter I have been buying. It has a slight earthy scent to the litter, but it's not overwhelming, and I don't mind it. I can't comment on the level of tracking as my cats like to kick any litter out of the box, making it tough to tell what's tracking and what's not.I will be starting the transition in their pee box soon, and will update with the results from there, but so far 5/5.

Cats track this litter all over my floor and I had to vacuum it every time they leave the litter box. And, this litter is super dusty due to its lightweight nature. Although the clumping effect is quite good, it’s not 100% solid clump - some clumps got stuck at the bottom and I had to chisel it which leaves a gluey mess. Definitely not recommended.

indeed it has a natural feeling, my cat knows when something feels natural, I really wish they could add more, for that price I guess thats why people don't buy natural. WE CANT AFFORD.I bought it 18marsh and now the quantity is going so fast, its already touching the bottom of the box for a small cat I dont think its gonna last a month if this was cheaper or more quantity I will definetly subscribe as they said its earth finest 100% natural litter you will sense it as soon as you open the bag :)

I liked the way this litter clumped, but it got all over my house. it's fine like sand and must stick to the cat's paws. We ended up with it between our toes as we walked around the house even after vacuuming daily. It's too messy for me. I won't buy it again. I also wasn't a fan of the smell...at all!

Very lightweight, no scent, great clumping. Only complaint would be the small size of the bag which only fills the litter once, and just barely. But if it'll truly last a full month I'm happy to swallow the cost for the sake of the high quality.

Love this product but Amazon takes ridiculously long to deliver... Found the product nearby... much happier supporting a local shop than Jeff. Bye....
