It does not have to be refrigerated. I usually refrigerate as I plan to keep longer.

Is this used as a condiment with kare kare? If so should you mix it with anything?

I do not use this with kare kare. The paste is used with chili peppers and at times stir fried with veggies or mix with rice.Hope this helps.
