This product works!
I had my picc line in for 7+ weeks. The nurse in the hospital told me I couldn't shower everyday because the dressing WOULD get wet no matter what precautions I took. The visiting nurse that came to house told me to look online and find a good cover. I landed on this product because the only bad reviews were that it was too tight. That's the whole point though, right? If it's not tight it will leak. I used this cover for the entire duration of my treatment and it is still in great condition. I saved it in case I ever have to deal with a picc again. It is very tight and I had red marks where the plastic met the upper and lower part of my arm. I had no problem getting the cover on or off and everything stayed dry. Overall this is an amazing product that does exactly what it says.

Skeptical and confused...at first.
I knew my child was getting a PICC line placed and bought this on a whim from Amazon. But once at the hospital, we tried everything but this product first - Saran Wrap, Press and Seal Wrap, and the Aquaguard shields (which are terrible and failed on us a couple times). Finally I pulled out this product. It looked really basic and came with zero instructions except to watch a video online...so I did. It took us a while to get it on the first time but we are getting better at it. It absolutely works. My son can completely submerge his entire arm in the bathtub and his arm stays dry. My only complaints are that it's really long - covers the entire arm and we would prefer to just isolate the PICC line area. It definitely cuts off circulation especially at the wrist and so we put it on and take it off quickly. Don't be afraid to stretch the plastic - whatever it's made out of bounces back. And follow the instructions exactly. I expect we will have to replace it at some point but it's lasted for a couple weeks now with daily use.

Keeps Picc Line Dressing Dry
Got a Picc line placed before discharge from the hospital. After having it placed they wrapped my arm so I could shower and the wrap failed and the plastic cover over the dressing failed so they had to redress the picc line within a couple hours of having it placed. Home health nurse recommended cutting a hole into a ziplock bag and taping it around my arm and that failed as well. Purchased this and tried it, only thing that has worked thus far. It is definitely on the tight side and after removing it there are marks from the two holes in the cover, but it maintains that airtight seal and keeps the dressing dry. Highly recommended for anyone who has a picc line and wants to shower without fear of ruining the dressing. It is tight without cutting off circulation. Since this does not rely on adhesive and it's simple single piece construction, it is very good at keeping water out.

KEEPS PICC AREA DRY
Fits tight on both end of forearm keeping the PICC bandage dry. I can get the shower spray right onto the arm without concern of water getting inside. Very good product. I'm ordering another as a backup, just incase, so I will always be secure in the shower.

Beware of possibly mislabeled product!
Having just gotten my PICC line inserted today, I quickly opened my AquaShield PiccGard Picc Line Cover - Regular size regular. I had gone to the AquaShield website before ordering from Amazon to see if regular would be large enough to fit my plus-sized woman's upper arm, and was confident when I placed the order that all would be well.So I tentatively went to try it on. Neither of the holes looked like they would accommodate my lower arm, much less my upper one. I read the directions on what to do and no, it wasn't going to happen in this lifetime. Both holes were way too small for me. I looked at the box again. The picture on the front is of a cast cover, hand to elbow. That's not what I ordered, and not what's pictured on the Amazon page I ordered it from. A sticker on one end of the box relabels it as what I ordered, but with E14. According to the manufacturer's site, E14 refers to the size, and it is a small. Regular is E16, which would give me the 4 1/2 extra inches that I was expecting. But I'm afraid if I try reordering it I'll just wind up with the same thing.Bottom line, picture and printing on the box are not for the product I ordered. Labels added to the box have correct product name but coding is for size small instead of size regular and product inside is indeed a small. Had it been the right size I think I would have loved it. You can tell it will be watertight with a correct fit, but since I cannot even try it on to verify its effectiveness I cannot give it more than 2 stars. (1) 2 day Prime delivery as promised, and (2) well packaged=2 stars.

Not for upper arm piccline
Heavy material, but small opening. Couldn't use with an upper arm PICC on a small woman.

This really works!!
When you first receive this item, it looks like a nothing piece of plastic. But don't let this deceive you. This product really works. I have tried another highly rated item and it did not work as well as this one. My picc line area is BONE DRY after every shower now. And it is really quick and easy to put on. Important to measure your arm and select the right size. Say good bye to saran wrap and get your aquashield!
