Beautiful Home Theater!
Product arrived in perfect condition. Took less than 20 minutes to have everything set up and operational. Combined with Verizon FiOS, the picture quality is amazing, and the sound is surprisingly good as well -- with my last TV, I had external speakers hooked up that are now being put to use elsewhere in the house. I'm especially enjoying the Olympics in HD, and looking forward to the football season. Everything I expected, at an amazingly affordable price.

Do not buy. After my experience with this TV and LG's awful customer service I will *NEVER* buy another product from LG again. This TV worked for less than 6 months for me and then the screen stopped working (went black) and would not turn on again. I engaged LG's repair service and they set me up with a local repair shop. The local repair shop "repaired" my TV and returned it in a month or two. After I hung it on the wall I turned it on to discover it had a different problem. Called the repair shop and sent it back.Fast forward 6 months and several more failed "repairs" (and $800 in service charges for all these repairs, since only the TV was under warantee, not the labor) I was informed by LG that this product was out of warranty and they wouldn't repair it anymore. After three more months of waiting on hold, getting hung up on, being told my online receipt was not valid (!) and generally dealing with horrible phone support I finally convinced LG to extend my warantee to fix it again. The "fix" lasted less than a week. The bottom line: this TV lasted less than six months, cost me $800 in repair charges, and never worked again despite me shelling out nearly the entire purchase price once over in repairs. LG's warantee was not honored, their service was worthless, and their phone support made this the worst product buy of my life hands down.

Not a review, just info you might want.
If you've come across this at a big box store or here on Amazon and are doing research, you may find that information on this TV is pretty hard to find. Even the LG website doesn't acknowledge its existance. So it must be something they make specifically for big box stores and don't want to bother dealing with themselves. That doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy when I think about how their customer service on this unit might be. But then again, who needs customer service on a TV? And if it's deffective, one big box store includes a 2 year warranty. Anywho, the reason I am writing this is to help you find the owner's manual so that you can get a real look at the specs. It turns out that the owner's manual for the 60PV450 covers this model too. So if you go to LG's web site, and either search for or navigate to the 60PV450, you can click on the product support page and find the owner's manual there. I hope this helps.Oh yeah, this model does not support any of the new "Smart TV" features like streaming Internet content or surfing the web. There is no wired Ethernet or wireless (WiFi) connectivity. But what do you expect at this price? Besides, most blu-ray players do that anyway.

Nice Picture
This has a great picture. As always TigerDirect and Amazon deliver! Packaging was good. It included both hard copies and soft copies of the manual.I have cable, Roku, DVD players and PC all connected as well as some components that run through an audio/video mixer. All work fine. Set up was easy (used a great wall mount from CheetahMounts that extends out to allow for easy connections).

NEVER BUY THE LG BRAND!
Do not buy this hunk of junk! I did not but this from Amazon, I bought it o at my local HHGREG. The manufactured date on the back of the TV is August 2011 and it is not March of 2015, so it is not quite 4 years old and I have owned it since December 2011. About a month ago the TV began to go out. At first it just looked as if two channels were bleeding together on the TV, so we had the cable guy come out and look at it and learned that it was not the cable but the TV. You could see the logo to other channels bleeding through when we weren't watching that channel. I also know that the image was not "burned" in because it would change and flicker. So one morning I went to turn it on and it was flickering very badly then just cut off on its own. Now it has sound but no picture! This is absolutely unacceptable for a TV that cost 4 digits to be useless after not even 4 years. Is it repairable, absolutely! Only it will cost about as much as it did for the TV! The complaints against LG are all over if you do a little research, their customer service essentially tells you to suck it up buttercup.
