An adequate case for Zenpad S 8.0
This case is pretty good. Especially because unless you buy an Apple or Samsung product, you're going to have very limited case options. When I purchased this case, the price was about $16 and I do believe it's worth that. It certainly seems the most protective option out of the cases for the Zenpad S 8.0 that I've seen.I wish that there were a color option that didn't have the light tan on the inside, such as an all black option. It's a very professional, "businessman" looking case, which is fine, but as a young person, it feels like I'm using my dad's tablet. An all black option, with maybe just the positioning bars in a different color would've been nice.I don't like that the outside of the case has a vaguely sticky feel and tends to pick up any dirt on the surface you place it on. There's also a slight bend on the bottom right (top right in the photo I included of me pointing to it) that causes the case to obscure a small part of the screen. It's hard to see in photos since it's black, but it's quite apparent in person. It's not a huge deal, but it is a bit annoying, if not solely for the fact that I can see it's crooked which just bothers me.The stylus is also not super great; it works most of the time, but occasionally the screen won't respond to it. You have to apply it pretty firmly for it to feel it.Overall, it's a decent case and certainly worth the price. I've only had it for about a week now, so I can't attest to its longevity, but I'll update this review when/if it begins to break down.

High quality materials and construction, decent functionality
This case looks and feels very nice. I think it might actually be real leather. It's thicker than the cheaper cases that I'd usually buy, but not by so much as to be annoying to carry. This case has a good bit of padding to it and feels really great to hold.I like the sewn in strips that make it easy to prop the ZenPad at specific angles. They don't work too well when using the tablet while lying in bed, but in that scenario, I would fold the cover backwards (flipping the tablet over) and shape it more like a tent. That works well except for a couple of apps that don't flip to that orientation for some reason. One thing I'm not thrilled with is that when I fold the cover backwards, the tablet doesn't lay flat. The hinge side of the cover is propped a couple centimeters higher than the opposite side. Not a huge deal.I also don't like how the case frame that the tablet slides into encroaches upon the top and bottom edges of the display (when the tablet is in landscape orientation). This makes Android's gestures for displaying the notifications or home keys a lot more difficult to do. I'd prefer a case that uses a clip in shell for the tablet rather than this slide in frame, but at the moment, it seems that only the tri-fold style cases offer the clip in approach for the ZenPad S 8.All in all, I was worried about spending so much for a third party case but I'm pleased with it.

The case's thickness prevents this from being a great product
This case is okay. I have the ZenPad S 8.0 64GB and it fits perfectly. I like the hidden Velcro tab that holds it in. Visually it's nice, a kind of faux leather thing going on. It looks like it belongs in a business meeting. I thought I wasn't going to like the leather on the face of the device when inserted (as opposed to others that attach with a plastic), but it's actually visually decent. It does well functionally, offering three levels of tilt, which is nice when I'm in bed and plopping this on a pillow in front of me.My only complaint, and this might be a big one for most people, is that it's very thick. Some might like this so it's easier to hold your tablet. But part of the reason for getting the ZenPad S 8.0 is because it's thin. This completely kills any sort of thickness advantage. In fact, if I want to read, I actually take it out of this case so I can hold it above my head or re-position myself (if in bed), which kinda defeats the purpose of having this. Also, ZenPad S 8.0 users know that the power and volume buttons are already quite flush with the sides of the tablet. So the thickness of the case makes it very difficult to raise or lower the volume, or even turn it off.Honestly, this is good for carrying your ZenPad around, and great for watching videos. It's visually decent. But that's about it.Edit 12/4/2015:I'm still using this, and I must say I only use it to carry it around. When I actually use my device, I take it out, unless I'm watching video (then this is fine). I need to add that a side-effect of the thickness of the faux-leather on the edges of the screen is that it is difficult to press the on-screen home and back buttons. On the ZenPad S 8.0, there's no physical Android buttons. So, you pretty much have to pull the leather down to access them. Function should be #1 in a case, followed by style.I must say now that I cannot recommend this product at all unless you just need something to cover it while you're carrying it around. Reducing the score from three stars to two.

Good case with one drawback
It's a bit bulky but lightweight for it's size, should actually protect from drops unlike most other cases for this tablet (only other one that looks better protection wise is the bobj silicone one but it looks like it's for kids is heavy and doesn't have auto wake sleep)Reason for four stars is the case makes accessing the top/bottom of the screen in landscape mode difficult, because it's 1mm+ thick and comes down almost to the edge of the screenEdit: if you use a stylus or have small fingers it shouldn't be as much of an issue, swiping down from the top is the main issue but itworks better with my pinky, with index finger I have to push the case up some and then swipe down, it looks like they tried to make it easier to access by putting a slight indent in the pleather there but it's only about 1mm, after adjusting the velcroed part tighter the bottom of the screen is more accessible it's just pulling down the notification bar that's an issue.

Could have been better
While the quality of the outer finish is excelent and I love that I can have a matching case for my kindle, the inner finish however is not good. After a few weeks of light usage (opening it once a day), the inner finis started to crack and tear of at the bending spine. I don't expect it to be a liftime partner to my tablet.

Binding areas
the binding areas fail with the covering, resulting in splitting and pieces coming apart.

Materiale a dir poco scadente !!
Materiale della custodia spacciata come pelle ma che non lo è !! Dopo 3 gg di utilizzo la parte si stava già "sfogliando" e nella parte interna la piega della chiusura completamente piena di tagli che mostrano il "cartone" sottostante. Materiale pessimo . Restituito !!
