Travel Umbrella - Windproof Automatic Compact Umbrellas for Rain

I really love this umbrella, especially for kids. The outside is a classic black, but the inside has this really pretty pop of color and pattern, which makes it much more fun. There are different patterns available, so I think the little surprise inside is such a cute detail. My favorite feature, though, is the one-button open and close. You press the button and it pops open, and then press it again and it collapses the umbrella. You do still have to push the top and handle together to fully close it and then secure the Velcro, but the automatic opening and collapsing makes the whole process much easier. I especially like this for kids because traditional umbrellas can be awkward for little hands to open and close. This one feels much more manageable while still being compact and easy to carry. And honestly, the fun pattern inside makes a rainy day a little more enjoyable.

Excellent quality in a compact size. Opens quickly with full coverage. Packs up nicely in my daughter's backpack without taking up room. It's lightweight and easy to use yet not flimsy. It's especially nice that it came with a case. Very reasonable price too. I'm very happy with this umbrella.

Wanted a shorter and smaller canopy low cost umbrella and this umbrella is good for my needs, it will work for my upcoming trip. It appears to have a strong support shaft and upgraded springs and stronger enhanced metal ribs, but also the metal tips are exposed and possibly have less attachment thread than needed - it would be easy to repair if the threads broke loose. It seems like an upgraded and inexpensive umbrella. It's not automatic shut, it's click to collapse. The umbrella has to be fully clicked shut (using both hands) to engage the re-opening mechanism to get it to reopen again. If the umbrella is already open (in the rain) and the button on the handle is accidentally bumped, the umbrella collapses automatically, and both hands (and strength) are used to get the wet umbrella to shut all the way before it can re-open again. Design is easily accidentally triggered to collapse in the rain The case was made of fleece terry cloth and washed up nice and is big enough to easily use for the umbrella. Unpackaged with no odor, but the umbrella and case were rinsed to remove the invisible manufacturing dust.

I usually don't make reviews but I had to post one here as soon as I opened this up. I haven't used the umbrella yet but I can tell that it is Quality and it is very beautiful. For one it does tuck back into the outer sleeve that comes with it which is a plus over other products I purchased. Additionally there was a very nice instruction sheet and a small note from the family manufacturer. I can see that they are proud of and stand by their product. The design is beautiful and the umbrella looks quality not cheap

The opening/closing mechanism on this umbrella was defective and since the window for return was closed, I wrote the company. They immediately sent me a new umbrella in time for my travels. Superior customer service.

Grabbed this for my bag since I got tired of getting caught in random rain without one, and it's been great. It's genuinely compact — fits in my backpack side pocket or even a bigger purse without taking up much room, but it opens up to actually cover you well. The automatic open/close is nice, one button and you're done, no fighting with it while your other hand's holding coffee or whatever. Held up well in windy conditions too, the 8 ribs seem sturdy and it hasn't flipped inside out on me like cheaper umbrellas tend to do. Grip feels solid and comfortable, doesn't feel flimsy despite being lightweight. Dries pretty quick too so it's not sitting in your bag soaking everything else. Good one to just keep in the car or bag as a just-in-case since it barely takes up space. Would recommend.

It’s pretty, and the size and quality of the material feel good. I really like the feel of umbrellas with UV protection, and at this price, it’s very economical. Overall, it feels like a sturdy, well-made umbrella. Unfortunately, I’m returning it for two reasons. 1. It’s larger than I anticipated. I wouldn’t consider this a compact umbrella. It’s so thick, even when I have it wrapped as tightly as I can, that I can’t actually get my hands all the way around it, and I have big hands. To me, this is more like a normal-sized small umbrella rather than a truly compact umbrella. I realize “compact” is relative when you’re comparing it to a full-length umbrella, but when I read compact I expect something smaller and then your regular small umbrella. More like a travel umbrella or one that fits in your book bag, briefcase, purse size. 2. The shaft is extremely difficult to retract. The shaft is very hard to telescope back down. To the point that if you had mobility issues in your hands or your arms, I have serious doubts on your ability to comfortably, get this retracted down regularly. The automatic opening works perfectly. Push the button and it opens. Push it again and the canopy collapses, actually rather forcefully. But then you have to manually push the shaft all the way back down into the handle, and that takes a surprising amount of force. If I’ve just come inside from pouring rain, I don’t want to have to wrestle with my umbrella to get it fully collapsed. One would end up even wetter. So, while I really like the umbrella itself, the overall size and especially the difficulty of retracting the shaft mean it’s going back.

Easy to fold after use. Reasonable and relatively good product. Hope it will keep up with the quality.

Lovely sturdy compact umbrella. Nice and light but no compromise on quality. Easy to put up and down. Good wind resistance. Great case to store it in.

J'en ai acheté deux pour mes enfants . Je cherchais un modele simple à ouvrir et à fermer, pas trop encombrant une fois plié et capable de rester au vent sans se retourner. Je les aient acheté en septembre, et j'ai volontairement attendu de bien pouvoir les utiliser dans des situations de pluie et de vent. Les petites mains de 8 et 10 ans ont eu du mal au début avec la fermeture, mais je n'avais pas compris qu'il fallait appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton pour une fermeture automatique... Donc un bouton pour ouvrir et fermer. Plié, il rentre dans la poche de leur sac a dos et n'est pas lourd. Déplié, il est grand et la qualité est au rdv . Il ne s'est pas retourné une seule fois face au vent , gros point positif pour moi. La poigne est agréable. Je m'intéresse simplement sur le choix d'une housse de protection en velours, une matière similaire au parapluie aurait été plus appréciable mais bon cela reste un détail qui n'impacte pas l'utilisation . Ravie de cet achat qui correspond à ce que j'attendais.

It's a good buy. Item is in good condition. Can handle heavy wind/rain.
