a little hard to install, but the new look is worth it
My 20 year old tub had thick caulking (tub to floor) of some kind and it had deteriorated. I didn't know what to replace it with until I found this item. The instructions were very good. I struggled a little with lining up the stretch of caulk but the effort was worth it. I was able to lift it a little for adjustment along the way. It IS very sticky. I laid it down about one foot at a time. I am very pleased with the result!

Waste of money, does not stick, is not water proof
I ordered a pack of this peel and stick caulking and recieved it 10/31/22. I followed the instructions on the pack, removed old caulking, cleaned the area well, dried it well, and applied the rubbing alcohol as advised. Despite doing so the stuff would not stick. You have to REALLY grind the tape into the area you want it to stick to get it to remotely stay in place. Allowed it to dry for 12 hours as advised, however the moment the tub was used the tape fell loose in some areas, completely off in other areas. For being a "quick" alternative, it took longer fiddling with this stuff than it would have taken just to use caulk and both require the same length of time to dry. Honestly just buy bathroom caulk. You'll get a better seal and less hassle than trying to keep the tape in place. I ended up ripping all of this off and binning it.

Worked great for me
Its pretty hard to get caulk perfect so I bought these when I put in new floors in 2 bathrooms. The adhesive was almost like a sticky putty. I was careful to clean the surface and let it dry, apply it straight the first time so I wasn't pulling it back up and I used a rubber tool to push it down as I applied it so it was well adhered You can push with your hands but if you use a tool that won't mar the plastic you can put a lot more pressure on it. Also make sure the adhesive is warm or at least room temp. (its stickier when its not cold)So far my adhered very will. If it starts coming off I plan to use some liquid nails to re-glue it but its on there pretty good so I'm hoping thats not necessary. The people who said its junk either got some bad adhesive, tried to apply it when the adhesive was cold, applied it to a dirty surface or did something else wrong.I'd definitely buy this again even if I had to put more adhesive on it. I could never get caulk to look perfect

Not sure what changed!!!
I have used this before a couple years ago. I loved the adhesion and the look so I bought it again. Two weeks later it's already coming away and losing adhesion.

This was a game changer for me.
I have an old house that I’m fixing up, and things aren’t always going to turn out like I want them to. Things don’t line up, unevenness, and unsightly gaps are all around me. This product saved me from having to tear out and relay tile, because of an unsightly large gap between the tile and shower pan. The contractor tried his best, but the floor and pan had a 5/8” gap that he caulked, but still made the job look horrible. I came across this stuff in a random search one day, and had to try it. I have to suggest watching the video on YouTube first, then grabbing a hair dryer before going to install this. It goes on much like vinyl wall base does. The hair dryer is to make the glue backing soft and pliable, and you can cut this with scissors. It really does work, I let it cure for 38 hours before using the shower, and have had no problems. I’m definitely going to order more.
