Glengettie Foil Tea Bags (80 Count Box, 250g)

Used to bring these back in my suitcase from Wales, every visit. Now I don't need to. Very popular Welsh tea. The packaging is in both Welsh & English, for extra curiosity. There are lots of great teas in the UK and this is one of them. Strong & smooth. Not bitter. Make sure the water is fully boiling!

This tea is my new morning go-to, and let me tell you, I don't even miss my coffee! When I decided to wean myself off the bean, I gave Glengettie a whirl, and WOW! Add a bit of honey and creamer, and it's like sipping liquid comfort. It's equally fabulous as a hot tea and makes an excellent sweet tea (sun tea fans, rejoice!). Glengettie is more than just a tea—it's a tradition, especially in Wales. As someone with Welsh heritage this makes me feel a little closer to home. They've been perfecting this black tea blend of Kenyan and Assam teas for almost 50 years, and the result is a smooth, rich cup that you can enjoy any time. Excellent tea! It's a bold, full flavor tea while remaining smooth as all get out. I don't like the term strong because that is often confused with harsh to some people. I really think this is the best tea I've ever had. I steeped it for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes and added two teaspoons of milk and about 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar. A full 5-7 minutes will give you a "stronger" cup, but I think 3-4 minutes is the sweet spot for my taste.

This is a great quality Welsh tea. I had not heard of it before. The reviews really helped convince me to give it a try. It has a bold flavor and is somewhat malty, but it is not as malty as PG Tips, which I prefer a little more.

So glad I took a shot and ordered this tea. Truly robust, but balanced with a great flavor. A perfect everyday tea.

Quality teabags strong strength nice blend and taste budget friendly

A good Welsh tea at a reasonable price. Even in London with its hard water, this tea gives a rich brown and tasty cuppa. Much better than the usual big brands.

I know Tea is a matter of taste, but I must say that this is an excellent brew and I have given it 5 stars because I find it an excellent brew-the blend is excellent, goes well at Breakfast or even a Cream Tea.

The first time I bought these, they instantly became my new favourite brand of tea. The tea was strong and full of flavour, and the bags were really good quality and came in a foil sealed bag. The last box I bought came with tea that tasted like supermarket own brand, in cheap easily tearable square bags, and did not come in sealed foil packaging. I don't understand why two totally different products come from the same supplier and in the same box. What is it you're actually selling?

The actual tea itself is fine, nice and strong but the actual tea bags themselves are awful. The perforations don't work and I've wasted loads trying to separate them. I filled in the online form on their website, no response. I emailed the address on the box, bounced back not known. I then found out they are part of Typhoo. I emailed them and they emailed back and didn't want to know so customer service is useless. Won't be buying again
