I got this because sadly my old alarm clock which lasted me 8 years packed in for good when the buttons fell off and the touch sensor pad finally stopped workingSo i thought Id treat myself to this!I saw it, and it looked really cool and modern, I was worried it looked good on the photo but itd actually look tacky in real lifeThankfully, that is not the case, in fact the front face despite being plastic, is that glossy, that it looks like glassThe clock has 3 different brightness modes, Low, Medium and HighOne feature I wish there was, is one where you can go from being low or medium brightness directly to off...maybe a slider instead of buttonAs it is, currently you click once for low,again for medium and then again for bright before again to turn offThis means if you turn it on in the middle of the night to checm the time, you then have to nearly blind yourself to turn it off--or close your eyes whilst you do itThe high brightness is really very nright which is excellent for daytime, not so good for nighttimeThe clock is pretty stable and the centre of mass is pretty low to the ground, this us excellent because it means that you can mess around witb the buttons half dozed off without knocking it over or of like i used to with my old one!Another feature I liked is that it has an inbuilt battery which isnt powerful enough to power the LEDs but it is powerful enough that you dont need to bother setting the time because it keeps track once you set it up onceTo wake you up on the morning, you can either have a somewhat stark but loud buzzer, radio or if you plug in USB or Aux your owb musicI like the buzzer because it wakes me up very suddenly though sometimes that does leave you feeling a bit groggy, especially if the clock is deliberately placed on the opposite side of the room to force you out of bed to turn it offIt would be nice if you could change the tone, which uf you can, I've not figured out yetMaybe I'll have to actually read the instructions to seeOverall, over very modern, stylish alarm clock with a decent build quality and finish that it looks way more expensive than it isIt wakes me up well and the letters are super big and clear making it very easy to read!It doesn't topple over easily unlike my old oneHere's to hoping it lasts another 8 or more years like my old one did!Note after having this for quite a few months,unfortunately the screen dim buttom has broken completely so it us on fully brightness all the time, so I no longer use as alarm clock but use it on my deskSadly not as durable as i had hoped

Broke our alarm clock when moving house & been missing the subtle lighting in the bedroom from it. So ordered this! It is as expected. Nice size. Really great large display! Definitely can't miss it in the night & can be seen very easily from across the room with sleepy eyes! 😂 Gives off a nice glow that gently illuminates the room enough to see a touch with adjusted eyes but not enough to disturb sleep. Very comforting for me. Really pleased 🙂

When it comes to alarm clocks, I usually purchase them from local stores such as Argos. But for the price, they usually are very poor when it comes to features. So this time, I decided to purchase the Acokki clock via Amazon. Ignoring the fact that it has a humorous name, it's surprisingly full of great features! From the standard radio, alarm, sleep timer to huge digits, brightness controls for the screen and even a USB port for charging mobile phones, which is really useful. Overall it does what it says and it's great value for money and I highly recommend it.

A nice looking radio, the time is displayed well, however the radio crackles too much to be able to use.

I have never been able to tune the radio in . I've left it tried it on numerous occasions , I'd like to please return it and purchase a different product. Please would you enable a refund.
