SUPCASE [Unicorn Beetle Pro Series] Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, [Heavy Duty] Full-Body Rugged Cover with Built-in Screen Protector (Black)

I’ve had this phone case for over a month now, and I feel that I’ve had it long enough to be able write a review.The case has a rugged look, an otter box type design (which was I was looking for). It has a finish which prevents any fingerprints from showing on the case itself (matte like finish). The covering for the power and volume buttons can be pressed without difficulty and are almost unnoticeable. The coverings for the charging and headphone port are very well designed. They keep the ports free from dust and other debris which might otherwise get lodged in there if the coverings were not present. The coverings themselves fit tightly into their sockets so you won’t have to worry about them protruding. The speaker, pen port, and audio port have openings wide enough which won’t interfere with the functionality of these features. The opening on the case for the pen port is wide enough to allow you to pull out the S-Pen w/o any difficulty. The openings on the face of the case are wide enough to allow the camera, speaker, and Led lights to function without any interference. The same goes for the openings on the rear of the case. The case was designed with “raisers” on the back of the phone to prevent any scratches on the camera lens or the case it self when left on a flat surface. The face of the case is also designed so that it is raised when left facedown, which prevent any direct contact with the surface.The built in screen protector is a plus. It is protects the screen very well from any scratches and functions very well with the S-Pen/finger. The only downside to this is that the smudges are noticeable, but only when the screen is off. The Screen protector does not cover the finger print scanner, Led lights, or front camera.The three pieces that cover the phone provide a great amount of cushion to protect your phone from any drops. The outer layer has a very tight fit over the other two pieces of the case, so tight you might struggle just a bit trying to take it off! The front of the case was designed to prevent the screen from making contact with the surface, so rest assured that this case will protect the front of your phone!The holster that comes with phone also has a very rugged look and is very well built. My phone has never dislodged from its holster! Nor has it dislodged while walking, squatting, sitting, etc. The holster latches on very well to the phone, it has a very tight fit. The clip itself was built for heavy duty and designed to sustain some rough bumps. The clip does not have a spring like most cheap cases, it’s designed with some sort of metal clip which forces a tight squeeze on the belt clip. Overall well designed!This case does not interfere with NFC, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, or the phone antenna. I’ve used all of these features and I haven’t had a problem with any of them.Lastly, I’ve dropped my phone a couple of times and the case has done a wonderful job protecting it. There has not been one instance where the case has completely fell off my phone after dropping it, this case will have a very tight grip on your phone!!Overall, this case is a great buy and I highly recommend it. The price is great!!! Its design and specifications make it equivalent or maybe even better than an otter box, but I’ll let you be the judge!

This case is very nice. I have had it for roughly 3 months and it has been very helpful in protecting my note 5. Upon arrival, I opened up the very sophisticated and nice packaging and retrieved the phone case. I was happy to find a small instructional pamphlet on how to install the case along with a QR code that led me to a video on how to install it. I quickly installed the case, though, I admit I had a bit trouble getting the two parts of the case separated at first.Here is what I think of the case overall:The case provides adequate protection while still maintaining the sleek look and thin profile of the phone. The built-in screen protector works very well, though I have noticed that it easily gets dented and damaged. The included belt clip is very useful in protecting the phone. I will slip it on before I head out door and it keeps my phone protected all day and also allows me to clip the phone to my belt or pocket. I have dropped my phone a few times with this case and I am pleased to say that there was no apparent damage to my phone. The one thing that I wish didn't happen would be dust getting in between the screen protector and the phone. It happens very often and I have to take the phone out of the case, clean both the screen protector and the screen, and reinstall the phone into the case. First off, this is a very good case in most aspects. It feels nice in my hands, almost like soft touch plastic, but is actually a firm rubber with textured plastic inserts on the back and front. It looks like it should protect my Note 5 pretty well with minimal bulk. All the cutouts are well executed, and the built in buttons are nice and clicky, with good tactile feedback. I have confidence that when I press a button, it will register.Now the not so good...The screen protector has a matte feel to it. When sliding through a website, there is noticeable more friction in my finger. Also the finger print scan home button is not covered. This could potentially allow dirt and grime to seep under the protector, and potentially scratch the screen, not to mention the button is not at all protected. On top of that, the rainbow. I cleaned my screen with alcohol and ensured no dust was between the protector and phone, and there are no lumps showing dust. But, a very thin, very very thin layer of air is trapped under the scree protector that causes a swirling rainbow affect. It is noticeable with the screen on or off, and worse in bright sunlight. You can even see it move around the screen if you rub your finger on the screen. It's not grease, or dirt, just poor quality plastic.The other issue is more speculative, but still worries me. The front half of the cover is plastic, and makes direct contact with the glass, front and back. This makes me wonder if the force from a drop would transfer through the hard rubber, to the plastic, and crack the glass. I hope they did testing on this, and it's not an issue, but it still worries me. Would rather see a thin layer of soft material against a glass surface.I love everything else about the case and holster. The flaps covering the ports are stiff, but would rather them be stiff than flimsy. The corner with the s-pen is well protected and easy to access. Can't say that about most other cases for the note 5. Over all, buy it. Worth the money.

This case last me one year without a single problem!Protect my phone from a few falls and never fail to complete the job!never use the belt clip!never had a problem with wireless chargers!

Jus recieved d cover.by providing u a overall review i must say holster and back cover is good but when it comes to screen protector it is just a slim sheet of plastic not a hard toughen screen protector as i thought.so 4 stars for toughness of supcase nd 1star cutted for poor screen protector.
