Does the job, and a joy to use
I got this auto-feed power screwdriver in 2017, and it is now my favorite power tool.I am replacing the nails in our deck as they start to come up, and for that job this thing is absolutely the shiznit! My only disappointment is that I rarely have more than a few replacement holes in a row, because it is so satisfying to go along the row, popping in a screw every three or four seconds, BZZAP, BZZAP, BZZAP!The Senco screws come in belt magazines, 55 screws per, which is a perfect size: you will go through one every four minutes if the work piece is ready for you. I have not yet used up my first bucket of screws. The Senco driver is absurdly easy to use, and after two years appears to be as reliable as a hammer. My wife thinks I am goofy to love a power tool so much, but believe me — once you have this thing you will stay up nights thinking of excuses to use it. BZZAP, BZZAP, BZZAP!

Like magic!
This is the best tool I have purchased in at least a decade! It is just amazing how well this works and how quickly projects go. I struggled the first few minutes until I realized that they loaded the square head bit at the factory, rather than the supplied phillips bit. Switched that out and this thing feeds in screws without a single failure faster than you can imagine. The only trick is that once you start to drive a screw, finish driving it in the entire way. If you stop half way to reposition, you will create a jam as the drill will move the screw strip forward, and the screw you didn't drive in will now block the mechanism. Other than that this is amazing. I have used it on projects other than drywall, works great on driving screws into plywood, etc. I would say that an hour of driving screws with a tradition drill putting each screw on the bit by hand only takes 10 or 15 minutes with this drill.

Well balanced with consistant countersink.
Bought to replace Hitachi W6VB3SD2 which was awful. This tool is very well balanced, lighter to work with, has much finer counter sink control and drives more consistently. Those last 2 points are really important to me and were the reason I returned my Hitachi after 1 day! I would have given this tool 5 stars if it came with a hard case. The soft bag does not offer much protection for a precision tool, and when I contacted the manufacturer they said no hard case was available, so I had to spend an extra 50 bucks to get a decent case. Otherwise, great tool for the money. I would have gone for the cordless, but battery time not long enough for that price.

Great tool for subflooring installation.
I am using this tool to put down 4000 square feet of Advantech OSB subflooring. It works great. Three of us got 1400 square feet of a new 3/4 inch subflooring layer down today. This tool saves a lot of time and is easy to use. Well worth the cost of the tool. I like the ability to set the depth. We are putting the screw heads just below the surface of 3/4 OSB. So far, no problems with the tool. By the time we are finished, we'll go through over 5000 screws. If I have any problems later on, I'll edit this review after we finish the job.Update May 5: We have put 4000 screws down with this tool. No problems so far.

Good item. Works great once you learn how to make it work properly. You have to just pull the trigger before you do any pushing and it drives the screw without any difficulty. Oh yeah...make sure, too, that you have the right screw length setting for the screws you are using. If you don't set it right they will not feed properly and will cause you some anguish. All and all this learning curve was small and the tool is a great addition to the shop and will be used for many things down the road.

Not for old, hardened joists
Not a bad tool, probably, for new construction. Did not have the torque to drive screws in to old fir boards.

Perfect for its intended purpose.
A joy to use, although you have to develop a bit of technique. I secured a roomful of rock board this weekend with no jams or other problems. You really have to use it at 90 degrees to the surface, though; any angle at all and the screw falls over or doesn't set completely. But this gun is a real time-saver!
