Took a chance on Shark, no regrets!
Bought this to replace a Dyson v6, decided new Dysons were too expensive so after some research went with the Shark. Took a bit of a punt, but so far it's paying off. Despite the price difference the Shark feels good quality, it's also great not having to change the head for carpets and hard floors, flick a switch and your good to go, and a simple trigger to apply boost, great! Bought the version with 2 batteries, haven't managed to run one down fully yet, but good to have the backup, also nice that it has an indicator on the side of the battery so you know when its running out, beats the Dyson that told you it was low on battery by stopping. Emptying the bin is easier too, with a lot less mess. Then there's the noise, the Shark is so much quiter, my 4 year old was scared of the old one and would run away anytime we hoovered, not anymore. Some have mentioned the running lights being unnecessary, but I quite like them really shows up the dirt, it is a shame you cant turn them off but its not a deal breaker. Only slight downside is the extra weight, it is slightly heavier than the Dyson but unless you are particularly old or weak its not going to be a bother. Also like that I no longer have to store a cleaner on the wall can fold this up and shove in a cupboard. All in all would recommend this, especially for the price no regrets going with Shark!

Great Vacuum....
Our previous Vacuum Cleaner, was, is, a Hoover. I won’t name the model etc, but it’s useless!! We have used a Dyson Cordless, which was a big improvement on the Hoover, however, given the Hype about Dyson technology and innovation, my opinion, they lack innovation and technology..So searching for a replacement unit was, initially, a bit of a dilemma. I did some research and had the Shark highly recommended to us, we opted for this particular model, for its anti hair wrap, allergy/pet friendly, versatility and twin battery packs. Less than a week in, and pleased to report its amazing. (Yes I know it’s sad to be excited about a Vacuum Cleaner) Ashamedly, the impact after hoovering the carpets, revealed a finish similar to having it washed! We haven’t used all the tools that go with it as yet, the lights on the front are superb and very useful. The ability to change from hard floor to carpet at the flick of a switch is great, battery life has yet to be tested thoroughly, however so far so good. The fact that two lithium batteries are provided provides additional flexibility and resilience, unlike the Dyson. Will provide a further update once it’s been used for a longer period, so far, so good and would most definitely recommend it....

A pleasure to use
This vacuum cleaner only arrived today but I’m really impressed. I’ve mostly been a Dyson customer but have tried GTech and Miele since Dyson stopped making their easy-to-store upright model. I didn’t get on with either. But ... the Shark is easy to assemble out of the box (I didn’t even look at the instructions), performs very well, and is way simpler than my Dyson to adapt into “tools” mode. The stick releases easily from the head and away you go. It’s really versatile. I love to flexi mode too, where you can vacuum under tables, sofas and beds. Some customers have mentioned it being heavy - there is certainly weight in the top part (as that’s where the motor and battery are) but it slides really effortlessly. In fact it feels like it’s moving by itself much of the time.Canister is quite small so I had to empty it after doing four rooms (and we hoover every other day so it wasn’t super dirty) but it’s not really a problem to empty.I’d go as far as saying it’s fun to use. So far really impressed.

Game changer!
This is a total revelation for me! I purchased this as my first ever cordless and I'm wondering why I didn't convert before.Pros-• The manoeuvrability on this vacuum is phenomenal, twists and turns so easily!• Great suction, it seems to get up everything I've come across so far and more! Sucks up my partners sock fluff and my waist length hair easy peasy.• Battery life is great - I've been using this daily for 2 to 3 days and still loads of power left (2 up 2 down house). Great that you have a second back up.• Loads of attachments.• Easily detachable as a small handheld, use this function constantly.• Really easy and simple to use and empty.• Small and easily packed away in our cupboard.Cons-• It is pretty heavy although for me because it is cordless I can just easily swap hands but some may struggle.• Find the lights slightly pointless for me, could do without and save battery life?!• It doesn't have a wall hanging function.• Slightly top heavy so won't stand alone. For me the pros far outweigh the cons and would definitely recommend it. Game changer for myself! Can just whip it round every day and stay on top of the vacuuming, GREAT!

The best hoover I’ve ever tried though it’s heavy
I was skeptic about it because I already have a regular hoover but when I tried it on my carpet I was amazed by the amount of dirt it removed from the floor. In order to make sure it was the hidden dirt I hovered the entire bedroom with a regular Henry and once done I went all over again with the Shark and OMG the amount of dust and hair trapped the dust box. It was literately full as if I haven’t cleaned the carpet for ages. I couldn’t be happier knowing that my flat is really clean now. It comes with two batteries and a charger that holds both battery charging at the same time and it’s got a suction cup underneath to not let the charger loosen. The hoover itself is heavy and not that comfortable to use whilst handheld to remove furniture dust but does not the job so brilliantly that I don’t really mind about it , however some people might really find that uncomfortable. Mind that. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.
