Gentle, yet seems effective as an antifungal shampoo for cats
I've tried quite a few shampoos (including other chlorhexidine-based ones) to get my cats rid of their ringworm. If you suspect your companion animal has this horrible fungal infection, by the way, do yourself and your animal a favour and treat it promptly and carefully!I've come back to buy more of this because:- it seems to be really effective while not having a really strong, aversive smell (nice mild scent);- it's easy to use and really doesn't seem to irritate my cats' skin.I tend to put on my best easy-dry clothes and sit in the tub with the cat, putting them on my lap as I wash them and while I wait a few min before rinsing the shampoo off, they get less scared and agitated that way; my skin doesn't get dry from being exposed to it repeatedly.Tip: you can pre-dilute it in a bottle with warm water and shake it into a soapy solution, and then apply it to your companion animal's pre-wetted fur (when wetting the fur, make sure you really get the roots of the fur, even with the shower head running 'point blank' over their fur, it'll still take you several minutes to get them thoroughly wet if they're really furry!), you might find it goes a long way that way.If you are using this as an antifungal product (I really wanted to avoid oral medicine as it seems pretty dangerous, but the downside is it takes a lot of effort to get rid of ringworm on cats if you're only treating them externally) you could also, after rinsing this shampoo off, pour a bit of VERY DILUTED Imaverol solution over their fur and massaging it in (it's a leave-in product; do be careful to follow instructions if you use that, it's a strong veterinary-type preparation). Try and let it dry on the cat's fur a bit, though you don't want to leave your poor moggy too wet either, so a portable fan heater and a good towel dry are still recommended.Either way, I really recommend this product, it's stopped lesions from occurring on my cats, by all accounts. I have been using it weekly on my kitties and will keep doing so until I'm sure the ringworm is gone for good.

Misleading!
The title / advert states a flea treatment but no mention of flea treatment on the product packaging. The instructions states to use the appropriate amount for the size of dog, but no quantity to use is mentioned on the packaging.
