It works, but bad lag on TV audio
I bought this in order to play Smart TV sound on a pair of Bluetooth speakers. Unfortunately the lag (delay) on Bluetooth has the effect of making the sound a few milliseconds later than the picture. This is probably not be the fault of the Justop unit, but the TV trying to send audio data via the USB socket. Whatever, it doesn't do what I wanted. For a tenner I'm not complaining about another gadget that will languish in a drawer, hopefully to fulfil its useful destiny one Covid-free Xmas. You can switch between receiver and transmitter, and it works fine. But the lag on transmit is a problem.

Poor quality. Did the job but not for long!
**UPDATE**Unfortunately, I have downgraded to 1 star as the left channel has stopped working. Item returned for a refund. This is a decent adapter. I haven't used the transmitting part of it as it's intended for use in my car. It is easy to set up like any other bluetooth device. This is the part that buyers may need to be aware of. The default mode is transmit so if you want to receive a signal you have to press a button on the dongle for a few seconds until the light changes colour. This isn't a major issue, but if you want to use this item to stream to the aux in your car stereo you'll have to switch to receive mode every time you start the engine. As far as I'm aware this can't be changed but if anyone knows otherwise, please let me know. The sound quality is just OK but I appreciate that's also dependant on the quality of the source it's being fed. Had I known/researched a bit more I would have bought a dongle which is purely a receiver.

Great little device
This arrived today and I installed it in myChrysler 300C ... I used the usb and aux sockets on the headunit and ran the excess cable under the headunit and in through the facia out of sight. The unit has a little announcement when it powers up (in transmit mode) and also when switching to receive mode.(more on that in a bit)The sound quality for me was great but soon noticed the included 3.5mm cable isn’t all that and seemed to be a bit touch n go so I swapped out for a better one I had. I haven’t noticed any buzzing yet and the volume and quality seem great.I have handsfree built into my headunit and my iPhone still connects to that and also to this device for streaming. So it plays music as I require and switches over to call and then back again.Other than the flimsy 3.5mm cable included, my only other gripe so far is that when you power it on (each time I switch my ignition on) it auto powers up in “transmit mode”, I know it’s only a 2/3 second press of the little mode button to change it, but I wish it powered up in the receiver mode or just remembered the last mode used. For this reason I wish I had gone for a receiver only Bluetooth unit.Another positive is that it does remember my paring every time and gives a chime when auto connected. This is a great little device that has allowed me to keep my head unit and bring it up to date with Bluetooth streaming and all for £9 :)

Transmitter as default
Great sound but set as a transmitter by default so need to change every time if using as a receiver (eg in car). I stuck with it for a while but now bought different brand that receives as default.

Cheap tat
Item came with the button hanging off, so had to change from transmitter mode to reciever mode with a needle. Upon doing this the audio quality was shocking, sounded as though half of my car speakers had died, no bass either. Using the same audio cable directly to my phone the audio was so much better i have had to return this item.

Using this with a projector and Bluetooth headphones (Bose QC35). There is significant sound delay, I would not recommend this product at all. I can’t even return due to Covid. The product is not easy to setup either. Sound quality is poor. Please can the seller contact me
