Valterra A10-3300 White Battery Box Louver

Needs a better description. This is the vent cover only. The description does not indicate that it doesn’t have the part to attach the hose to it. The description says it works with a 1 3/4” hose, but since it doesn’t have the hose connection, it won’t. I shouldn’t have to look at the questions people have asked to know it doesn’t include the other piece.

If your making a solar battery box or just using this to vent your batteries, you may want to add a small fan behind it. You can get a 92mm 2 wire computer fan at 12 or 24volts that can run off your batteries and use very little juice and the holes on the fan line up perfectly with the mounting holes on this louver. You can also get a temperature switch and have the fans come on at a certain temp. I bought snap cap temp switches that will turn on the fans at 77F and go off when the temp is lower than that. These work great for my battery box. I have 2 fans with these louvers on the ends drawing air in, and two fans and louvers on the front drawing air out. Keeps a good circulation going over the batteries.

Perfect for use as a battery compartment vent on my DIY motorcycle camper. Drilled a large hole using an appropriately sized holesaw, and mounted with rivets. Put a spacer under each mounting hole otherwise it'll distort a little bit when the rivet pulls it in. Point the louvers down for a mostly water-resistant installation.

This fits fine on my Lance 855s, and it seems like relatively the same quality (expect to replace them every couple of years). The vent came without a box, and they placed the UPC sticker right on the front. Ugh. Of course, it doesn't peel off easy, so had to spend quite a bit of time with goo gone and plastic razor blades before installing - so frustrating.

Exact replacement for the one on my RV. However, it is very thin (fragile) plastic, which is why I had to replace the old one, which cracked and a louver broke off. I used butyl sealant around it, but that caused it to bend a little. Might be better if you used dicor.

This cover was broken on our RV when we bought it. Looked in a lot of places, but were unable to find it. Finally saw it on Amazon and ordered it. Fit perfectly.

Did not work for me as there is no flange to hook the hose to. It's just an outside cover.

Exactly what I needed to replace the side battery box vent on my fifth wheel. Fit perfectly!

The louver/vent cover comes with no hardware or gasket/seal, but was able to remove old louver without damaging gasket seal and was able to reuse original screws. Perfect!

It fit my 97 5th wheel perfectly in place of the cracked original.

Exactly as advertised. Perfect fit replacement.

Great item however didn’t come with any silicone or sealant
