Paradise Silk Pure Silk Knit Women Underwear Long Johns Bottom Only

I have had silk long johns before, and loved them; however, they were thinner than these, and didn't last very long. These are significantly thicker, while still being very lightweight; they fit under even my tighter jeans. They are so amazingly warn, and yet even when doing a fast winter hike, I find I'm not overheating at all. About the only thing that's not perfect for me is that they are very long in the waist (I'm 5-2) and the waist hits me pretty high. But I roll it down and it works. I'm glad I got the small; I'm about 115 and they fit great. Well worth the wait to get them.

Bought this for a trip to Yellowstone. I'm a 4-6 and the small fitted fine. Very good quality, and lovely color too - I bought the flesh color, it's a pale pink color. Worked as an insulator too. Would recommend. Didn't snag on my nails or dry fingertips like some other silk items do. The waistband was not too tight and they did not ride up.

The listing and tag both say "100% mulberry silk," but if you've ever handled actual silk before, you know these leggings are made of plastic fibers. They are stretchy, which real 100% mulberry silk is not. Maybe these leggings are some kind of silk/spandex blend, but if that's the case, the tag and listing need to say that. Honestly, though, I really doubt it. These leggings feel just like some boxer briefs I own, which are 90% polyester, 10% spandex. They also smell like plastic.The leggings also fit really strangely. Tight and uncomfortable in the butt & hips, but weirdly loose and baggy in the front and at the knees. Doesn't matter a whole lot, given than you are supposed to wear them under clothes, but still.Anyway, I'm returning these to buy *actual* silk leggings from a different retailer. If I wanted plastic fabric, I wouldn't have spent $30. There are PLENTY of other brands with cheaper polyester/nylon/spandex long johns than these.

I like these a lot. They fit nicely and are sooo soft and comfortable. They are not real thick so are not extra warm. They are perfect for wearing around the house on a cold winter day. If I wanted warmer for more outdoor activity I’d buy a heavier weight.2 months later. We’re now in the dead of winter. I wish I had not bought these. Yes, they are silky smooth. However right after putting them on they start to ride up on the lower leg so that almost all the time I’m wearing them they are just below my knees, leaving my lower leg cold. I WOULD NOT recommend them. I wish I had bought a different brand that had cuffs around the ankles and was longer.3 months laterThe left leg is 2 1/2 inches shorter than the right!

These are fantastic: natural luxurious material and very smooth on the outside so they slide under your regular pants or jeans perfectly. Very warm - I wear them under jeans at -15 C and still feel good. They look good almost like leggings, not like underwear. I would not feel embarrassed at all if they stick out. They are thin and easy to pack. I own many underpants because of the cold climate, and I think these are better than "sport" ones.
