Instructions book is not easy to undertand
I bought this camera and I am very disappointed ,In the video they have in their web site it looks like its easy to use but is not !! I tried the unit for 2 days and it was imposible to make it work. Hard to connect to the wifi and keep going off the wifi when you connect. And the instruction are a mess of different languages and hard to understand. they should make each language apart !!!! sorry but is goin back to the seller!!!

Failed after 3 months, doesn't seem to be IPX4
Bought as an outdoor camera (under trees) to take a timelapse of a building going up. The TLC120 is supposed to be weatherproof (IPX4) and was mounted on a large tree about 10 ft up so should have had no trouble (e.g., no "water jets" or any other higher level concern - just rain). After several months it started getting water *behind* the outer lens and then eventually seems to have caused sensor failure. I got black with a bunch of jumbled lines the last day.As far as features, the WiFi connectivity was also a little spotty (you have to fiddle with it to get it to work and I was never able to successfully download videos directly off it due to hangs - so plan on getting it down and reading the SD card directly). The record button fell off somewhere after while - at least it was silicone sealed underneath and didn't seem to affect operation. The battery life is also estimated pretty high - the 20 days would be very few pieces of timelapse. Look at the manual which has more specifics, but if you're talking about every 5 min 8 hrs/day for a 4s/day video then you should expect about 10 days from my experience.I've contacted customer support about warranty given they say "Brinno stands behind every product we make with a no-hassles warranty," for the year it's covered. If they write back and handle it as truly no hassle, I'll edit and update the review accordingly.Update: Customer support did ask quite a few questions but honored their warranty. I think there are multiple entities at play (offshore manufacturer and US distributor) - the US distributor was really on top of things, the communication between the two got a little lost. So positive points for standing behind the product. Unfortunately within 2 months the replacement unit failed too with something affecting the lens clarity. Given the failure rate, just cannot recommend this solution for something outdoors; however if you're wanting to timelapse indoors perhaps it'll work better for you.

Does not work with the App
The TLC120 is an EOL (End Of Line) product. Currently, the app will no longer support the latest iOS or Android version and is only compatible with iOS between 7.0 and 15.7.1 (Android and iOS above 16.0 excluded). So basically with an iOS upgrade to 16.0 or higher the camera/app become unusable.

Camera Good, App Not So Much
This is a fine little camera and takes nice time-lapse footage if you can get it started using the cludgy app. Often will not connect at all. Takes patience...

Do not buy this product
Absolute garbage, do not buy. You cannot use this without a wifi signal making it completely useless. Camera quality is terrible, the UI doesn’t work. Very disappointing Amazon sells this without informing their customers of crucial details and functions.

Technology is too old for my phone
This camera won't work with any updates phone! You can't pair it with bluetooth, so it's worthless, sadly. Too late now to return the product.

I wouldn't buy these right now
I purchased two of these and I cannot understand why they work for a couple months and then now I'm the application doesn't work for Android at all I can't just go out by anymore because I came down with a terminal cancer I'm in a six-month hospice ready to die and I want to use these cameras and I can't I've been to pickaway sitting here on disability I've sent messages to this company nothing's ever come back maybe this route right here me before I die maybe you guys can figure something out here frustration is beyond me spent money that I should have spent and now I can't replace them you can have none and I'm on my way out it's not fair maybe you can fix something for once maybe text me back or send me a message or try to do something because this is ridiculous when our product they say greatest and they don't follow up to think it was a hit and hate this I'm trying to do a video for my son I don't have much time left and I can't even do it cuz I don't have any is all I have I can't find anything else
