Reach New Heights - And Clean Them Too!
Not only can you reach new heights you can clean them! The Hampton's ceiling fan duster is an exceptional value and of surprisingly good quality in relationship to it's low cost.I suppose ceiling fans are one of those things that as much as we love them they tend to go un-noticed until the get dirty. Cleaning them is a hassle and for someone like me ladders and I are a very bad mix - as I stand at the top trying to hold the fan blades still images of a month in traction aren't far from my thoughts! We have seven ceiling fans in total, all white and with the exception of two very difficult to reach and keep clean - the fan blades are a virtual dust magnet and this easy to use, excellent product makes keeping them clean a piece of cake.We also have the Unger Industrial fan cleaner and 8 foot extension pole and although which excels at dreadfully dirty fans better than the Hampton - it's also four times the cost. Twelve dollars for the Unger cleaning head and close to thirty for an 8 foot extension pole with the proprietary Unger snap on connection for their of cleaning pads and dusters.Again the Hampton's kit does almost as good of a job. Plus it's easier to store, lighter and simply effortless to use. The pole is light weight aluminum and very nicely machined. It comes in four pieces and you simply screw each of the four pieces together, screw on the dust head and Viola! you're ready to say goodbye to dusty, grimy ceiling fan paddles. You want to push the blade through the center opening and use a back and for motion to really catch all the bits and "dust kitties" that collect on top and to the sides of the blades.Using a little pressure will help keep the blade in place while cleaning. Plus, rubbing your hand through the silky mop head creates static electricity and helps reduce the amount of debris that falls. Spraying a small amount of a product like End Dust has worked well too.If you don't need the full length of the pole, simply unscrew a segment or two. When the dust head is dirty it can be either hand or machine washed in cold water but should never be put in a dryer and allowed to air dry or the fibers - which are very thin threads of polyester will be ruined. We've washed ours and it comes out as good as new.The Hampton is equally effective as an all around duster, a cob web terminator, and getting into hard to reach places both high and low for cleaning. Taking into consideration that The Hampton's Ceiling Fan Duster is a mere $12 and change this represents a superb value - Plus Prime members receive free two day shipping to boot. The duster arrives in it's retail packaging box, all pieces wrapped in plastic and a small instruction and care booklet. Really a terrific buy and a must have if you own ceiling fans.Highly Recommended.

Great Product
Works wonderfully on a fan that is not too dirty. If your fan is like the one in my son's room, and it gets the better of you, you'll need to clean it the old fashioned way by getting up there and scrubbing. But if you use this every couple of weeks, I can see this doing the job completely. It is very full and covers the blades completely. Traps the dirt very well. Some will fall, but that only happens when the item is very dirty. This also does a wonderful job on the top of your walls too. I was able to reach the top of my staircase walls and ceiling from the second floor landing. Very, very long reach or you can remove some of the poles and have a shorter reach. All in all this is a very good product and I highly recommend it.

Make Your Fan Blades Great Again (KIDDING)
Though.. it does look like a signature #FakeHair of someone we all know. BARELY fits around my fan blades. I stretched the inside ring out a bit and it now fits snugly over the width of the fan blade. If you have a fair amount of build up, I would suggest having the vac nearby and running. This duster works well and cleans the blades in one swipe. Most of the buildup (I'm in Houston.. very humid, so, alot of buildup) stuck the the thin strands of the duster.

Handle was too Small
The duster works great as described. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is that the handle that came with it was flimsy and more importantly did not fit the duster! By some miracle I had saved a handle from something else that screwed right into the duster and was sturdier than the one that came with it. I ended up with a product that I like very well. If I had not had the other handle, I would have had to return it.

Ceiling fan duster
I had a different one and loved it but I wore it out . I bought this , the texture of the bristles are a little different from the first one I bought but I still like it . I use it to clean blinds , walls etc. It serves its purpose. I really like using these , it cuts down on cleaning and makes cleaning easier.

Do not buy
This failed right out of the box. It does not fit the ceiling fan blades, and the top yellow duster is too heavy for the stick and it bends and breaks the stick. it’s a piece of junk
