BOSCH 4504 Platinum IR Fusion Spark Plug - Single

First of all. The Amazon price for this item is 40% of what other big automotive web-retailers charge. Someone is trying to make excess profits.On installation into my Ford F250 with V10, there is noticeable difference in the throttle response. Engine is more responsive to small throttle changes just above idle, and it seems less throttle is needed to ease away from a stop. There is less burble in the exhaust note. An added plus is that 1st to 2nd gear shift cannot be felt now (from less throttle needed?). Perhaps these plugs are more consistent at firing lean mixtures in newer cars. Note that old plugs removed have gaps still at factory spec.One caveat - the differences may have resulted with ANY new plugs put in. New plugs with sharp edges at electrodes should start firing at lesser voltages compared with rounded electrodes on well used plugs. The exotic materials used in these plugs may make differences in extended term performance.

I put the spark plugs on a 2000 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and they work great and the car seems to run better and have more power so I definitely recommend these spark plugs for whatever you have, I am going to buy them for my Boxster when I need new plugs. That being said, if you send in the rebate and wait for it to come back it is even better, I got half my money back and these plugs still work great!

Had these installed in my 2007 Mercury Milan Premier 3.0L V6 this past summer. The mechanic commented that he would have rather used OE plugs. But so far so good. No problems.

Used these for my 2001 Buick Century Custom, 3.1L. I initially bought these in Dec. 2012 and changed them again after 88,464 miles on January 27, 2018 (see photos and judge for yourself) but these have served me very well and have fulfilled their purpose. The packaging was very good to include an extra piece of carboard to protect the threads. The plugs were still working when I changed them and cause for change was maintenance.

Bought these a couple months ago for my 2005 Ford Focus, which has 176k miles. It was running a little poorly so I decided to replace the spark plugs on my own. Really glad I did! I'm not sure if these spark plugs are higher performance than the stock ones, which I've read are pretty good already, but there was a very noticeable performance improvement, and I get 15% better gas mileage (24MPG improved to 27-28MPG).It was extremely easy to install. Installed each one during commercial breaks while watching the Mentalist. Had it done in no time.

I love the added boost that these plugs have given my car. I notice the increase in horsepower and the boost in my fuel economy by 25%

engine was running bad before I installed these, they fit and tightened right up, wires fit directly on them, started the engine and had a rough start, after a couple minutes the engine was idling at 900rpms, then I took it for a drive down my road and as soon as I put it into drive there was little to no power, I opened the hood and smoke came pouring out, I then hooked up my code reader as my engine light came on and said all cylinders were misfiring. I reinstalled my previous plugs and the codes went away. I have power again, definitely going to trash these plugs.

Iv used this style plugs befor and they have worked good. Unfortunatly they do not work with the Ford 5.4 3v engine like they were said to.
