Standard double-sided mounting tape will fail and cause them to peel off the drywall within a week. You absolutely must use a heavy-duty construction adhesive applied with a caulk gun to securely anchor them permanently.• If you need to trim a panel to fit around a light switch or a wall edge, you have to use a brand-new, razor-sharp utility blade. A dull knife will snag and tear the faux leather, leaving a frayed, highly visible edge.THE BOTTOM LINE:A visually striking and highly padded architectural wall upgrade, provided you use commercial-grade adhesive for the installation.
