LOVE! Absolutely Love!It is the only cannula that I choose to wear. With my health insurance, I receive free cannulas. However, I’d rather buy these. The single sided nature of this cannula is both more comfortable & more ascetically pleasing.I am only 55 and never smoked. I never expected to need supplementary oxygen, but after being infected with a World Health Organization (WHO) designated top ten Neglected Tropical Disease, Leischmanasis, I now suffer from Secondary Pulmonary Hypertension and require 4l of oxygen 24/7.It’s bad enough to have scars on my face caused by the parasite, but wearing a typical cannula only seemed to add to pity others expressed to me.Last thing I want is pity. The Uniflow, single-sided nasal cannula allows me to receive my oxygen in a discrete manner. I am able to comfortably adjust around my ear, clip on my clothing neckline and feed the remaining tubing thru my shirt. It is no longer the first thing people notice about me.I’m also able to adjust it so that no tubing actually rests on my cheeks - a big relief since I also suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia. Not messing up my makeup is an added bonus.I am able to go 3-4 weeks between changing out my cannula. Initially, it takes me a few minutes to adjust the wire (in the end of cannula) to fit around my ear and cheek properly. Using the clip enclosed to attach cannula to the neckline of my clothing is key to a secure and proper fit. Readjustment is necessary every so often, but hardly worth mentioning. I found it unnecessary to use the included round skin adhesives. The benefits of the Uniflow Single Sided Cannula fat outweigh the extra expense and the extra time needed to adjust for custom fitting.BTW - this cannula WORKS with PULSE delivery regulators commonly found on small portable tanks or on portable air concentrators.I Highly Recommend this product, and I am a Buyer for Life!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One-sided nasal oxygen tubing.
Received it the other day....it worked ok, but very comfortable. I followed instructions, but it would not stay in place. It felt like it was falling out of my nostril. I tried it again when I went shopping, but would not stay in place. I even used the strips, but I could not get them to stick very long. Hence, I do not have anything to hold in place. I tried cutting the clear part from a bandage to use to stick on, but that failed to work.I would give it 5 stars because it's so comfortable, but that won't do me any good if I can't use it.po

Absolutely necessary
I’m really happy to have found these side cannulas. My father is recently in hospice care in home and he’s just recently needed oxygen. The dual cannula was uncomfortable, and he ripped it out whenever he could. I got ear pads and face pads to lessen the discomfort, but nothing worked. I researched, and found a dtudy saying that 87% of dual cannula users found it uncomfortable (the painful nose, pressure on the face, pain behind the ears) and that, when offered, patients prefer a side cannula. When I asked the hospice nurses for a side cannula, literally all of them said it did not exist. I’d tell them about the study, and they insisted nothing like this existed. I have no idea why they were so convinced this is some unicorn of a cannula, but time us not on my side to find out.My dad can’t really communicate anymore b/c of the dementia, but he stopped tugging at it and was able to get some rest with the oxygen in tact. I think this is a wise and humane purchase for those using oxygen - I’m absolutely glad to have found this for my dad. Would easily recommend to anyone.

Did not work for me
I wear oxygen 24/7 and wanted to try this out even though there was mixed reviews. I tried it on for several hours but it just did not fit in my nose comfortably and it would not stay over my ear or on my face. It does come with 4 little stickers to keep hose placed on your cheek and behind your ear but I don't see that working for somebody who has to wear it 24/7. This is the cheaper brand of the more expensive ones I've seen but I still would not recommend purchasing this unless you're okay with taping it to your face. The look was a little weird it reminded me of a feeding tube versus oxygen. I'll be sticking with my normal nasal cannulas.

I love the concept
I love the concept but I can't quite manage to use it in bed. I recommend it for people who can wear the cannula without pulting strain on the tubing.

One sided nasal cannula for oxygen
Wonderful idea for nasal oxygen--clever concept to just have to use on one or the other side of the nostril with very comfortable insert into the nose!! Will lessen the chance of nose bleeds in addition to directing the airflow upward in the nose which is more physiological.

More comfortable cannula
Much more comfortable than "around the head and ears in both nostrils version". Avoids that "get tangled and choke sensation" with the standard cannula.

and that pretty much would defeat the purpose of being "low profile" ...
This did not work for me at all, it continually fell out- I would have had to tape it to my face for it to stay in place, and that pretty much would defeat the purpose of being "low profile" Great Idea, just not user friendly in my case-
