Denby LIN-16PC Linen 16 Piece Set, Cream, Medium

OK, I love Denby dinnerware. I wanted the Linen table setting for every day use. I am accustomed to Denby dinner plates being larger at 12 inches so my mistake for not looking at this, I just assumed the "dinner" plate would be the same size as my other set, which is "Denby White". My plan was to order the "coup" set and add the "dinner" plate if I wanted a larger plate as an alternative.Just minor difference in size between the "coup" plate and the "dinner" plate, dinner plate being maybe a quarter inch larger. Hardly noticeable. So I was glad I only ordered one dinner plate....I still like this pattern and will continue getting the Coup place settings until I have eight. I will research on the Denby site to see if there is a larger dinner plate in this pattern.

I was simply replacing a plate that I'd broken.

Love how the plates have rims and the bowls are deep and you can fill it up with a very large amount of food. You will not be disappointed! The color goes with everything!

I was so happy to find this teapot on Amazon. My daughter-in-law loved it.

Love this. Couldn't find Energy Leaf pattern, but this looks good with our dishes and is a good quality dish.

1. The picture shown on the site is not illustrating the correct item. However, Once you go into the description, the picture is close but according to the seller, the boat does not include the saucer.2. Seller offered a 20% discount after the first shipment received was a cereal bowl with a fruit design.3. When I questioned the missing saucer, I was told if I didn't like the boat without the saucer I could return it.4. The shipper was quick to respond to emails.

I love the Denby pottery from England-30 years later you won't see chips and cracks like the Mugs from China.

The inside glaze of the mug is white, or nearly so. On my mug there were some dark 'specks' beneath this glaze (beneath, as in: impossible to remove) so I returned the mug. It was immediately replaced. I inspected the replacement the moment it arrived and this mug was chipped on the edge close to the handle. I returned this mug and asked for my card to be reimbursed. Looking at the mug and ignoring the blemishes/damage, I sense that it is much thinner/lighter in weight than other, much older mugs of the same style and make that I own. This may or may not be a good thing depending upon one's preference. Personally, I prefer the older, heavier ones, and wonder if this thinner design contributed to the damage the second mug had sustained.

I expected this to have maybe 3 'feet'/prongs on the base, with rubber protectors, but it just has a narrow rim around the edge, unglazed where it stands on the worktop/table. This presented 3 problems for me - first it would scratch whatever it stood on, second there is no air circulation underneath, and third it has very little space under it and I'm not convinced it's enough.The guy that made it into a clock had a genius idea, but as a trivet it's not acceptable.

This is very misleading as the bowl delivered is not the item shown in the picture so have needed to return the order. Item on sale here is the Linen coupe cereal bowl which is quite different and does not have the white glazed interior as the one shown here.

Denby china is really good quality and their mugs are no exception. This is a super colour and the shape is very nice indeed. It feels very sturdy in your hands, goes in the dishwasher and holds a decent sized drink - sometimes a little to much for me. One comment though - a friend who drank from it thought it was a little thick so if you're a bone china fan then this isn't for you however if you like a chunkier mug then this is definitely worth having.

Delivered very quickly and very well packaged. I have been looking for Denby plates this size to replace my old plates. (Nothing lasts forever! Not even Denby) They are strong with a glass like finish, and they look very classy. Much cheaper than high street. Not that I can get them elsewhere, I've tried. My cupboards were standard size when installed, but suddenly new plates are too big! I know where to come next time.
