Microbe Lift 4-Pound Pond Calicium Montmorillonite Clay MLKKB4

This is just great stuff!!!! It says it "polishes your water" on the container. I was like "Huh???" But it's true, and I couldn't describe it better. It really polishes your water to a sparkling, clear, healthy pond! I also like to mix the fish food in the clay for feeding, to make their whites whiter and their brights brighter. Haha! Very affordable, easy to apply in various ways, and insanely great results.

At first I did not think this was going to work. It took a month of using this for the 55 gallon pond to clear up. My fish are healthy and beautiful to watch now. It is in direct sunlight for 2/3 of the day. Usually it is green with algae and you can't see an inch under the water this time of year. I can now see everything in the pond. It is clear as a bell. This will be a must for my pond.

There are so many variables in play when it comes to a pond ecosystem, even if it's a small 1250 gallon one like mine. Impossible to tell if this product works miracles or is a giant waste of money but it doesn't seem to be doing any harm. Water parameters and clarity were great before using it and have remained the same after 4 months of use.

So, I started having some serious pond issues this year. I never had pond problems before (had this current pond for 6 years now) and for some reason the weather and environment must have stirred something up, because I ended up with string algae and muck. I bought this product after it was recommended on another website, and I was a bit skeptical at first. I read all of the reviews on here and decided to clean every inch of algae out of the pond, and then add the product. I tried it as directed for several weeks, and I had no improvement. In desperation, I started tripling the dose, and THAT'S when I saw huge improvement! It wasn't until I forgot to use it for a week that it really became how apparent the improvement was- I ended up with tons of algae again! So I started over, cleaned out the pond of every little smidge of algae, and then started using this again- about triple dose twice a week. So that being said, for me this product doesn't kill string algae already IN the pond, it just prevents it from growing. It didn't help me at all with muck, but I found a miracle product for that and am using them both now. Just for reference, I have two waterfalls and an additional third pump that recirculates into the pond (think a large bubbler), two biofilters, a UV clarifier, and an aerator, in addition to this product and the product for muck! I also have five large goldfish. So if this product doesn't work for you, try researching adding additional equipment. Ponds are expensive and a lot of work, but very gratifying as well!

Purchased this as a health benefit for the koi. It also helped the clear the water and create a shine on the water surface

My pond is 20 yrs old. Have tried tons of things to keep it clear! Happened across small container of this & thought wth...gonna try it! SHOCK! Ponders....it’s a miracle! Pond has NEVER been so clear! So I ordered 4lb container of it for next year! It truly is a MIRACLE!

Started using this year in 5000 gal koi pond. No more string algae, had been a chronic problem years before. Clears up the water nicely, with a maintenance dose of slurry 1 or 2 times a week (you need ultraviolet lights for the other varieties). Feed mini "dough balls" of of the stuff to the fish once in a while so they get their minerals. For me it works fine. More info on various YouTube videos if interested.

This is the stuff that makes your fish happy and the water clears up really nicely after a few hours. It's fun to ball up some food in the clay, then toss it in and watch them roll it around like a bunch of dogs. Good stuff, great deal!
