Works great!
I bought this over 3 years ago and never opened the box. I has sat on a shelf in my garage for three years. Snowed last night and this morning. Heavy snow, sleet and then raining in south carolina. This worked amazingly well. Far better than i expected. Easy to assemble, have 200 ft long drive way on a hill. Snow was only about 3 inches, but saturated with water and ice pellets, tried a snow shovel and nearly impossible. This little electric machine was amazing. Gets right down to the concrete drive and can clean it completely. Considering the weight of the snow, it still throws it about 15-20 feet. I did find that if i took half swaths it put less strain on it, but this is really heavy wet snow. Worth every penny. I only have about 200 feet of power cords, so i was a little short to the end of the drive which i did with a shovel. The snow is actually too heavy to lift with a shovel, it bends it . I could only push the snow with the shovel, again half swaths. But this earthwise machine was amazing on the rest of the drive where my cord could reach. I have used gas powered snow throwers in Michigan and NY, none do this well with snow this heavy and wet.

Chews through snow
The media could not be loaded. I got to take it for a test run today, with almost a full foot of snow.It does bog down a bit, and you might need to take it slow and do half passes when the snow is thick or heavy. However, it doesn't have any problems if you work with it. Much better than using a shovel by hand and clearing the driveway the old fashion way.It may look like it gets stuck a bit, but that's just me learning how to properly use it and getting used to going over the little edges in the driveway.I recommend having a very long extension cord, one that can reach your entire driveway and sidewalk.

Good for modular home parks
I just this minute finished my 75' drive. I live in a modular home park and have been shoveling my drive for the past 12 years. I wish I'd gotten one of these new fangled things sooner. What used to take an hour took just 20 minutes, plus five minutes finding the dang electric cord.A couple of hints: cut a swath down the center of your drive slowly, so as not to over work this blower. It's not a heavy duty, so don't try to do it all at once. Then as you go up and down the drive, the cord stays in the cleared spot so you can see it. Also, on the follow up passes, only take about half to 3/4 of a bite out of the snow. The snow this morning was between 2 and 12 inches because of the drifting and I found this method to work best.Another thing, if you have skirting around your house, blow so the snow hits above it. The snow will fall down the side of the house and insulate the base better. If you blow it into the skirting, it could cave in and anyone living in a modular knows the hell that follows.Wear goggles and a mask if the wind is blowing and bring a hanky or kleenex because your nose will drip and you don't want to wipe it on your sleeve.Tie the end of the extension cord to the handle on the side. I kept stepping on the cord and knocking the plug loose. The machine is easy to handle and I had no problem putting it together or using it so far, but it is still early in the winter so we'll see.

Easy Assembly! GREAT price! EASY TO USE!
Received the item it was packaged well. SO easy to assemble--NO TOOLS needed. This designer got it right, all twisting knobs!!!!!!!!!! Tried it out and this is a mighty mouse, plowed through 12 inches of snow! I really needed something sturdy, reliable, and easy to use. I found it! Thank you!

It's ok for a couple of inches of snow on an even surface. Otherwise I believe it has a design flaw.
I purchased this snow blower based on reviews and an Amazon sale. I already own a slightly larger gasoline powered blower, but wanted an electric one for easier maintenance and that is light weight. After sitting in my garage for a couple of months it finally snowed and I took it out for a test run. We got about 3 inches of snow, but it was quite cold and a thin layer of ice had formed beneath. Well it had only been snowing less than 5 hours and this machine simply could not penetrate the ice layer at all (my other blower goes through it without problems). Also the sides in the front are a bit thick and low to the ground; due to this, the front of the blower would often "stub" itself on uneven portions of my side walk (which is very annoying). Mind you, I'm talking about 1/8-1/4 of an inch of unevenness, not very much. My other blower has no problems with this because the front edge lifts about 1 inch off the ground. Basically this machine will work fine if you have a perfectly even surface and the snow hasn't iced up yet. Otherwise, I suggest checking out other models and designs. It's ok, but disappointing.

Waste of money!! Lasted 2 months
I purchased this as an extra up so I can help my husband remove snow as he uses our big gas powered Toro (which was only about $50 more than this)Total waste of money! If you live in New England I do not recommend this snow thrower at all.it did no where near the 10 inches that it claims, I’d say 4 inches of light snow at most!!!( that is until it died 2 months into owning it)Extremely disappointed all around.Spend more and get yourself better one, you will regret this purchase!

Very pleased.
Exactly as promised. Was great for the driveway. Has some trouble over the ends of driveway after the street plow in heavy snow. I expected as much, and it did get through the job with a bit of finesse. Very easy to steer around the cars in the driveway. Relatively light weight considering the amount of snow it moves, it's pretty easy to carry around. The auger is some kind of rubber/fabric combo, almost like car tire rubber, and held up well after a couple storms.

great shipping
I ordered this snow blower on a Wed/Thur during a heavy snow event. I got a msg from seller on Sunday saying it was delayed due to weather concerns. The warehouse is alledgedly in Indy but no way to come and pick it up. Long story short, the unit showed up Tuesday. It was great, went together well... pity its not self propelled.
