This don’t stay charged long enough for me. Nothing like a different product I owned. Can’t tell when it needs to be recharged.

The top tier are getting smaller but provide higher amps.The SKG Power charger is small and lightweight enough to be portable (in pocket or purse) but carries enough juice (10,000 mAh) to power a mobile phone several times and a Tablet/iPad a full charge as well. The specifications and details of the power bank are described in the sales promo and need no repetition in this review.I received the SKG Power bank fully charged and put it to the test. It charged, to 100%, my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 6 - both phones were at 15% and 12% charged when connected; it had enough power to fully charge an Apple Ipad Air from 5% to 100%. It took around 2+ hours to charge each unit.It is equipped with a Li-Polymer battery, instead of the more common and less efficient Ni-MH type. A protective leather case, which converts to a stand, gives the device a stylish and useful configuration.The SKG power bank has two USB ports - marked “Android” and “Apple”, which deliver 1 A and 2.1 A at 5 Volts respectively. I found them to be interchangeable.I tested the power bank ports output with a BESTOPE and a DROK ammeters. They both registered 4.91 V and 0.87 to 1.88 amps….enough to do the job.The package includes the power bank, a USB/mini USB cord and a user manual (that should have better editing) printed in minuscule letters that require magnification to be read.As a bonus, a car charger with two USB -1 A and 2 A - ports is included in the purchase.Best of all, the SKG comes with a one month free trial and a 2 year warranty.I like it and recommend it.I received a free coupon for a complimentary sample provided for testing & evaluation, but with no obligation to write a review. The toughest reviews to write are for product that are decent but not particularly stellar. But I have lots to say about products that really bad...and those that are really great.This power bank from SKG falls into the really great category because of the following attributes it has:✔︎ With a leather "checkbook" outer cover, the charger has the feel and importance of a high-end smart phone. I feel that if you experience this you'll see what I mean.✔︎ The charger itself, at 10,000 mAh packs a lot fire power, but case size that is about size of an iPhone 6. BTW, it charged iPhone 6 Plus from 40% to 93% in about 45 minutes.✔︎ It has just one charge state indicator light. It blinks when charging and stays solid when fully charged.At the end of the day, it's just charger. I have other charger which perform just as well. But I like the way that it's designers have chose a somewhat risky high road in making a premium iteration that I suspect a few people might mock as being over the top and overpriced. A battery charger is just a battery charger unless it’s this battery charger. It does its job speedily and effectively, but other chargers do that as well. What make this one different is its cowhide cover. It’s elegant and small enough to fit into a purse or briefcase without adding much extra weight.It’s size (10000 mAh) reflects the amount of its recharging ability. I’ve used it to rechaarge both my phone and my tablet – simultaneously. SKG has a great history of creating products that not only work but look amazing and are competitively priced. This power bank is a great example of this.I was offered one in exchange for an honest review and knew I had to also purchase one as a gift because it was something I wanted to share. You are able to charge two devices at the same time with it. You are also able to fold the nice cover so that you can watch videos while your device is charging. Again, it is that attention to details that make SKG stand out.Love the charger and love the fact that they think about what customers need.

The first thing you notice bout the SKG packaging is that it gives an impression of quality. They have definitely made an effort in this department which carried through to the power bank itself.The power bank is surrounded by a leather case which gives an element of protection. Not sure why it's hinged (like an iPad case). The unit is fairly understated which I like. Other than SKG branding there is an indicator light, 2 ports (marked Android and Apple although there is no reason why they shouldn't charge any USB device) and a microUSB port for charging.In use I have had just over 4 charges of an iPhone 5 and coupled with an iPhone 4S charging was as quick as I've seen. The battery is lithium so you should expect it to store charge more efficiently. I had no problems over the past week at all with it running down.Overall a very nice power bank, packaged to make a very welcome gift.Highly recommended.nb: I received the power bank in order to give an honest review

Good product, well made, does exactly what it's supposed to. Will wait to see if it stands the test of time, but so far so good.

This is a great piece of equipment, I took it on holiday with me and used it many times, it's a solid piece, well made, various lights show you it's status on charging and when in use

I haven't used my power bank yet, a friend has one and he is very pleased with his so I bought one.
