Duracell Powermat 24-Hour Powe System for IPhone 4s. I love this system. I bought it for my husband for his birthday and he too loves it. I had a plug in system to use every night but this is so much easier. You just place it on the pad and it charges very fast. Powermat was the first company to popularize the idea of charging mobile devices through inductive, or wireless, charging. Powermat 24-Hour Power System, promises to provide just what its name suggests. The first Powermat product under the venerable Duracell brand, the 24-Hour Power System indeed serves up wireless charging plus a backup battery to keep phones from dying when you're out on the town. Still, though handsomely styled and compact, for now the Power System is most useful for iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S3 owners.on Powermat products it is known when you're charging successfully. When you begin to place a Powermat-equipped phone on the mat you first feel a strong magnetic tug that's hard to ignore. This pull guides you down to connect the device with the mat with a solid thunk. If that wasn't enough of a clue, the mat chimes with an audible rising tone and illuminates a small LED when the connection is made. Pulling a device off of the mat causes a falling chime to play and switches off the light.The iPhone case comes in a range of seven colors.The third piece of this Powermat's puzzle is the Portable Backup Battery. The battery, a square unit about the size of a small tape measure, is both compact and light (2.9 ounces). It also is clad in the same futuristic styling as the Powermat charger.With the inclusion of the Backup Battery, it's clear that Duracell envisioned its product as offering users extra power on the go. Also, while the charging pad itself isn't precisely meant to pack up neatly for travel, it weighs just 6.4 ounces (9.28 ounces with battery) and is about a third of the size of competing products such as the Energizer Dual Inductive Charger. The Powermat's AC adapter is crafted with an eye toward mobility as well, featuring a wide channel where the cord can be wrapped and neatly stowed.I love this system, it is so easy, and looks so great.

***PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE PMA FORMAT AND NOT THE MORE POPULAR QI FORMAT***If you have a Powermat compatible device, this is a really good deal. It can charge two PMA devices at once, it's very reasonably priced, and it comes with a portable battery and an iPhone 4/4S case. The portable battery can be charged with micro USB or wirelessly on the Powermat. The iPhone case allows an old iPhone to wirelessly charge with this or any other Powermat charger. The iPhone case does not work with Qi wireless chargers, and the case doesn't fit any iPhone with the new smaller charging port.The item arrived quickly and in solid packaging. The portable battery is very easy to line up on the Powermat, as it magnetically snaps into place. My Samsung Galaxy S6 Active was a little more difficult to line up, but the Powermat makes a sound when you connect a device and another sound when the device is disconnected. It helps to put the phone at the same height as the Powermat, and slowly slide the phone onto the Powermat, coming at it from the edge of the longer side. This product charges just about as fast as Qi chargers, but it has a much more limited range of compatibility, as most modern devices are Qi compatible and not PMA compatible. But if you have a PMA compatible device, this is a pretty unbeatable deal.

I've had this for about a day now, and overall it's a good device. Here's my first impressions:PROS:1. Aesthetically pleasing and overall good design. Some comments talk about how slippery the case is, but I don't see it as a problem.2. It charges the phone in about the same time as the original Apple charger.3. Pretty compact hardware, and the case is not bulky.4. The backup battery will be great for keeping in the car for emergency power. It will fit fine in the glove box.5. Convenience.CONS:1. Instead of the USB port on the case, Duracell should have built in the original style connector. If for some reason, the user doesn't have either the mat or the USB cable, they have to take the phone out of the case to charge it. Also, having the original style connector would have streamlined the case quite a bit.2. The "lid" on the case doesn't quite close all the way. I can see a bit of an angle between the lid and rest of the case. In other words, not the perfect fit. It's not bad by any means, but it's noticeable.3. The charging LED's on the mat, for some reason, are on the bottom of the mat, so they're hard to see in daylight. Why Duracell didn't put the LED's on the side of the mat (and there's ample room) is beyond me. Not good placement.4. You have to find the sweet spot for charging to begin. Not a big deal, just an observation.For the price, it's a keeper. Amazon sells the same thing along with an additional "bonus" single mat for $99 with retail packaging. Not worth it because obviously you're paying quite a bit for fancy packaging. I may buy another at the ~ $22 price.

Awesome little product. I bought this for a pma ready Kyocera phone. The extra battery, the 2 item charging pad, and the iPhone case i can re-sell to make my money back made it worth getting this compared to just a regular powermat. For those who have been asking, no you do not have to have an iPhone to use this. You just either need a pma enabled device with a built in antenna, or the pma case for your specific phone. This does not work with Qi enabled devices. Like usual with Amazon, it showed up on time. Product works great. The spare battery is awesome. Can charge it and throw it in your car or where ever until you need it. The charging pad itself is rather nice. Has a tone to let you know if you have the phone in the right place or not, also has a couple lights. The bottom has 2 semi-sticky strips so it doesn't slide around on you. Over all great product. Well worth the price and then some.

I just got this Powermat and, so far, I love it. I bought it for my Galaxy S6 Edge. I have to slide my phone up and down a bit to find a right spot tho.I didn't test anything (charging speed, heat, etc) yet as this wouldn't my our main charger.We set it in our living room and friends can charger their phones without asking me a charger.As I went over the reviews, I hope I don't write a negative review after 3 months. :)

Does not work, I tried leaving the phone on the mat for 2 days to do the final test, but no it just makes a sound but does not charge.

would not recommend to buy as it messed up my iPhone4S on the first charge.
