BH Cosmetics Eye Essential 7 Piece Brush Set

These are great brushes for people with large eyes. I have normal/small hooded eyes so these brushes if not handled properly stab me in the eye. The blending brush is good for highlighting although it is a little stiff since it is supposed to be a blending brush. The large shader brush is more like a concealer brush it is the size of a thumb nail. The small shader brush is the same width and a little more than half the length of the large shader brush. The angled blending brush is a little narrower than the flat shader brush. The tallest bristles are the same length as the shortest bristles on the flat shader brush and the shortest bristles are the same length as the small shader brush. The pencil brush is wonderful for precisely placing color in the crease. The fine liner brush is good for smudge colors on the lower lash line. The small angled brush is also good for smudging colors on the lower lash line. It is okay for gel liner I prefer a finer tip for a sharp wing.

"I'm going to need two more sets of these." That was my initial thought when I used these. These immediately became my favorite eyeshadow brushes. I appreciate the selection of sized and I'm and thrilled with how easily they pick up and put down product. Nothing is too big or too small. There are easily enough brushes to do your whole eye (without needing to work in any others), but I plan to pick up some spares so I always have a clean one of each. Also, there are a couple of brushes I have multiple uses for. I like the pencil brush in my outer v, but also for smudging certain colors. I like the angled brush for lining as well as for eyebrows. However, one set really is enough since they are easily washed and also easily dry overnight!The BH Cosmetics website lists these as a Cosmopolitan Award winner and I can see why. They are truly stand out brushed in my brush collection. They retail for $10 on the BH site (and there are frequently coupon codes and sales as well). At less than $2 a brush, these are comparable in price to e.l.f. or Wet'N'Wild brushes but are worlds above them in quality. These even exceed the quality of my Real Techniques, Clinique, and Bdellium tools brushes.These come boxed and would make a nice small gift. The brushes are numbered and named. You get Blending Brush (101), Small shading brush (102), Small Shader (103), Angled Blending (104), Pencil Bush (105), Fine Liner (106), and an Angled Brush (107). The Blending and Pencil brushes are my favorite. The Pencil is slightly stiffer and places and spreads color like a dream and with wonderful precise control. The Blending is just divine. It's soft and fluffy and just the right size and just delightfully "swishy." BH sells individual brushes and other sets on their site.These are rock stars. You need them.

This is a fantastic little set of eye brushes!Bottom line: It comes with all basic brushes you need to get your eye collection started or even an affordable and effective set to purchase while preparing yourself for years of saving jusssttt so you can gouge your bank account with a full set of Sigma brushes! These brushes are dense, synthetic, have little to no fallout, and the handles are made of a decent quality material....not to mention the black and gold handles are soooo cute!Now go.....and blend!

I have hundreds of makeup brushes and kits, and I constantly rotate them--both to keep them in good condition for a longer period of time, and because I'm always finding newer, better brushes to use instead. I was really looking for some quality eye brushes that could function in multiple ways, and knowing BH Cosmetics as a brand, I picked them up along with two other brush sets from BH and had them ship out to me. I was so excited when I opened their box and took off the plastic sleeves! These brushes are super-soft, especially after the first wash, and pretty densely packed. They have a long ferrule (gold connector) and an easy to use stem, and they pick up pigment/smooth out pigment like a dream! I use these every day right now and have been loving their ability to multitask! I would definitely pick these up if you need some brushes, whether you're a pro or a beginner, or just someone who likes to play with makeup!

I own several brand brushes from this company and I have to say that this set is my least favorite out of anything that I've gotten from them. The brushes are not soft at all they're very poke on the eyes. Had I known that prior I probably would have purchased something different

This set is nice and I like it but when I went to wash them I was getting a strange dark tint off the brushes like maybe the dye from the coating. Other than that they are really soft and work well.

A great eye brush set that includes everything you need to do your eyes. The blending brush in this set is the best blending brush I have ever used. I think a lot of people wonder if these will hold up to regular washing at this price point, and they do. The only thing is that I have used better small angles brushes than the one in this set but it is still decent. I wish it came with a case but I keep them in the case for another brush set I own.

Great quality, a steal for the price. I bought these specifically for the blending brush because I haven't been able to find a good affordable one that I like, but I LOVE the one in this set.

I have a BH Cosmetics face brush set which feel very nice and rarely shed hairs, so I was looking forward to using this one and expected it to be of similar quality. However, I find these much more scratchy than the soft face brush set and find that hairs do come off of them. There are only a few that I use, because of this, and although I can get decent results with them, they're not very nice to use because of the scratchiness. I use the larger blending brush most often and you can actually hear the bristles rubbing against each other while using it, so it's not particularly pleasant. I had high hopes for these, but I may have to spend a little more than this cheap set to get good enough quality - which is exactly what it is, a cheap set of brushes. The set is useful so it's not bad for a beginner set, if someone would do such a thing for makeup brushes.

Such an affordable great set of brushes! Have washed them and had no shedding. Have lost a few hairs from the blending brush though. Ive had them a few months now and theyre still all decent.

Good mix of brushes. Decent quality. Brilliant price.
