Source Audio SA163 Reflex Universal Expression Controller Effect Pedal

This Pedal is incredible for real time parameter modulation via TRS, CV and MIDI. I'm a performer using Master MIDI Controllers, PC/DAW and hardware analog synths with VCF CV Inputs.

First of all, the pedal is very tight and making it impossible to sweep smoothly. Second, what ever you set it to control the thing jumps from 0 to about 10 in volume (ruining any kind of swells you may want to do).The pedal is pretty sturdy construction wise, but the material is far more inferior from the material a normal cry baby is made out of (the thing is sturdy but light).So, Don't buy..... you are better off with a mission control expression pedal.....trust me.

THE expression pedal! The only one you will ever need! The “Don’t buy!” Reviewer obviously doesn’t know how to adjust the sensitivity of the swells and the action of the pedal itself.If you are a player that doesn’t like to program and tweak too much stuff, doesn’t care about doing extremely conplicsted things with this controller I think you would be better off with the Dual Expression Pedal by Source Audio... it’s a nice sturdy expression pedal you can use on 2 pedals at a time without any programming, screens or buttons... and half the price. Also a 5 star product For those of us that use midi and don’t mind soending time programing which pedal will do what. This is by far the most advanced expression pedal on the market!!! I fibally decided to go for the soleman system... my current setup is a so compressor, ep booster, whammy, chase bliss brothers, muffroom cloud, sa programable eq, la lady, lunar phaser, nemesis delay and empress reverb . So I got the soleman controller, the neurohub and the reflex expression pedal... but I got the reflex before the other two and I was blown away by the level of control!!!I can finally do my ambient swells perfectly, definitely sounds smoother than my old expression pedal... volume, filters, anything!!!! Amazing!

The Source Audio Reflex is an incredibly versatile pedal that allows the user to control many different keyboards or effects through three analog outputs and three digital channels through the midi connectors. Also, you can have 128 different programs, so each song can be preset. I have two and love them! Note that another reviewer complained that the action was too stiff. The action is adjustable with the included Allen wrench, as is clearly described in the user manual.

This thing is everything an expression should be.
