Works in a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab HVAC panel
My original lights in my HVAC control panel were out in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. I pulled out out and disassembled and removed the old bulbs. I reused the orange bulb caps and put them over these new LED lights. It's not the best fit but it works. Because of the brightness of these LEDs, it looks a bit washed out or like "dreamsicle orange". But they work with the dimmer and if you dim the instrument lights, they look good. Hey, it's better than guessing in the dark! Overall, I'm happy with them. 5/5

Nice improvement
I was able to use 2 out of the 10. Used for 04 4Runner SR5. These only fit the information screen that displays the est mph, average speed and time. Too larger to fit on the fan speed, function and location dials or the rear defrost or recirculate buttons. Only able to use 2 of them but they work well and I am still pleased.

Lasted 1.5 years
Replaced blown climate control lamps on a 2006 Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately, the bulbs only lasted 1.5 years. Pros - Brighter than halogen Easy to install Cons - Film on panel causes light to appear blue Focused beam causes some dimming They were not a tight fit and easy to insert with a flathead screwdriver. The LEDs are polarized - if they do not light up, remove the bulb, rotate 180 degrees, and reinsert again. Additionally, the bulbs do not diffuse light well, like halogen bulbs. The beam is focused, and will make some buttons/knobs well-lit, and others dim. However, on the Odyssey, the dimming is acceptable and the control panel remains readable.

Decent cheap t4 base light replacement
Not overly bright, just right to not mess with your eyes at night. (And obviously better than no lights... ) The first 2 didn't work, for the price I'm not surprised, I actually bought this quantity expecting some not to function. They seem to not be polarized, but that may have been the problem. There are no marks I can see on mine to indicate polarity. (And I didn't see any on the circuit board either) The leads that wrap around didn't seem to have great quality control, they may need a slight bend to make good contact with the board. Overall I'm happy with the product since I can see my dash again. As another user stated the plastic is very soft for the base, very easy to deform, especially going into a deeper cavity where you can't get your fingers on them.

Used this in my 2011 Accord hvac lights
The only downside is they don't dim like the halogen bulbs that were in it. They were a little difficult to get the stock ones out but these went in easily enough. They have a blue light color to them.

Didn’t work
Unfortunately, I tried installing into my 2010 Honda civic. It had issues and maybe I got some that were defective. I even tried both sides and still didn’t work. Tried replacing my climate control as well thru out the back board light for night time for visibility. Maybe it’s wanting and needing more voltage as it is an older car.
