Have been using the Prominco unit for a few days and it is performing as needed. It sums up the total amount as well as total bills. However it arrived as a defective unit.When the unit arrived it would pull one bill through and stop as double counted bill every time. I spent a couple of hours looking through the unit diagnosing the unit. What I found was one of the wire plugs from the board located behind the back cover had came unplugged. Once I plugged it in the unit worked awesome! I feel like I should be reimbursed for my own repair of a brand new unit.Also, from what I gather from playing with the unit for a few days the bars displayed shows the scrutiny level the unit is using to evaluate a bill. If you press and hold the left and right button for 2 seconds it will either Increase or decrease the level for rejecting a bill. This was not noted anywhere in the manual... and the manual sucked as it was only vaguely helpful.

Generix LLC Customer Service asked me to update the machine. I did follow the instructions but the machine is constantly giving double error or chain error sometimes image error or stuck money while counting. I did tighten or loosen the adjusting screw several times. Calibrate the machine. It looks like this machine is not reliable at all. It has not been a year but has given me lots of trouble.

Calibrating this machine takes time, so don't expect to have it counting cash right out of the box. The documentation included with it has a link to a YouTube video that explains the process. After a few tries you'll have it dialed in. Once calibrated, the machine works very well. It does have a problem handling old and well-worn bills. I suggest taking those out of your stack and add them in manually.

Great counter, going to save us loads of time with end of day deposits! love the "batch" function, the auto-add function, and the ease of operation.

We have really enjoyed having this product and all the different features work great. It is a good price and seems to be able to keep up with the volume of cash that we are using. It is quite noisy at times.

I bought this for my business not even a year ago and it stopped working.. it was working fine until it started saying chain error, etc. I checked to make sure nothing was stuck and I unplugged it and plugged it back in and won't count the money..

It worked fine for first 3/4 months. After that some issues counting with one and five dollar bills then problems with 20 dollar bills. Will not recommend. It is a joke machine count only large bills all small bills i have to count it manually. Cant returned or exchange only used it for 7/8 months. If u buy products anywhere else u have one year manufacturing warrenty.with Amazon very much you are done.

It is very hard to find a bill counter for this price with mixed denomination value if all you Bills were New or fairly new it works fine as you know that’s NOT the case, the other problem is if you have ones to put in $25 Bach you have to comeback down press bottom many times till you get there I returned the item I I should’ve taken a video to show you.I been using Gstar ELITE counters Since 2016 this model works really good for $130
