The perfect answer to cooling your Hi-FI/ AV equipment
Already owning the S1, S2 and S£ multifans from AC Infinity which I got last year to cool down my Tag Mclaren AV processor and amps as well as my PS3 not before I had messaged AC Infinity through here on Amazon and then directly on their website I had a very helpful nice chap called Tommy who answered a lot of my in depth comms asking all the questions under the sun and every time he would reply in great depth explainign things and also doing this in an timely manner also which always impressed me then see they released towards end of last year the new Aircom series and the T8 & T9 took my interest but had plenty more questions to ask Tommy relating to these new units and how they would perform in my current rack set up and once again was impressed with the patience and in depth replys I had to my questions but my only sticking point was ordering from them in USA as these were not available to Amazon UK customers and as I needed three units (1x T8 & 2 X T9 Aircoms) I never quite pulled the trigger with postage cost and shipping distance but low and behold I check periodically on Amazon Uk every now and again in hope they are stocking them and could not beleive they finally was making the Aircom series availabel to UK customers although at time of writing only one seems to not be available in UK is the T8 Aircom but hoping that changes. So I ordered a T9 model to try finally and firstly can confirm it does come with a UK 3 pin plug (thankyou AC infinity there just for common sense and not kopping out with EU adaptor plug type affairs in the box) and is fairly quick and easy to get running as only has the power output and two USB outputs on the back to daisy chain any other AC mulitfans upto 6 additional multifans. Have to say the T9 is one of those products that is nailed on in every way from design to function and features cannot fault this unit and was worth the extra years wait for this to finally be available on Amazon UK. So far I just have it on auto and is far more effecient and quiter than when I was just using two multifans on my processor and is only having to use the 1st low fan speed setting to keep my very hot dual processor at a constant 25C. It has only kicked in the alarm so far when I turn it on it has detected it above the 35C alarm temp I have and immdeidatly the fans kick in full blast for around a minute or so to get it under the 35C alarm I set until it is 2C under that marker then went to lowest fan speed and within several minutes was keeping it at a constant 25C. With features like the smart mode and alarm setting and a lock key to stop it been accidentally adjusted especially if you have kids wandering hands and display brightness levels or just off this unit is worth the money wait for it to come to the UK. From this I am definitaly getting another one of the T9's soon for my other power amps then just need AC Infinity to stock the T8 rear blower version for my processor as the cleareance is less than my amps. It is a refreshing change as not to often I come across a company that way before I even purchased any of their products would answer all my questions in depth on many occasions then from the S range of multifans I have to now this Aircom T9 model know they are well thought out and well designed products that actually excel at what they are made for and look forward to getting more Aircoms to keep all my AV equaimpment three to four times cooler than without them helping prolonging the life of my gear also.

Excellent
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately it came with US plug power adapter as I am in UK so I already use ifI products with other units I have so I bought one these for this AC infinity and it works perfectly and I don't know how noisy this is supposed to be but even on the max air fan speed, it is not that load at all. I chose the front exhaust model as I thought it would be best for my setup and the cooling airflow works perfectly and left in auto smart mode it rarely goes into second fan speed and the appearance matches my Marantz integrated amplifier and CD player perfectly, all in all very happy with this purchase.

The best cooling fan for your AV equipment
Although this Unit doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the T range don’t think overall quality has been skipped. This unit is heavy and has a really good finish and fit about it. I use the unit in smart mode with the fan speed set to minimum and the fan led indicator switched off so I only see a small white and amber LED, so it not distracting. The fan unit does an excellent job of cooling my Onkyo receiver. You can only hear the unit running when there is absolute silence in the room, otherwise it’s whisper quiet on the minimum speed setting. Although these fans are more expensive than say a laptop cooler, the quality is there to see and feel as soon as you lift it out of the box. This should be a must have for and serious audio or videophile to protect your investment.

Looks good, works well but needs a US to UK 3 pin plug adapter.
Needs a US to British Three pin plug adapter but…….. Apart from that really nicely put together, works very well and very quiet and discrete. Perfect size for sitting on top of a standard size AV amp that runs very warm. Arrived much faster than I was expecting! Don’t forget to buy an adapter at the same time.

Looks great, works perfectly!
Used for cooling my Marantz AV Atmos amp. It matches the Amp perfectly, and in smart mode it keeps it cool and is virtually silent.

Must have accessory
This is a really excellent and well built piece of kit! If you have an amplifier or AV receiver it is, in my view, an essential purchase as it manages the air flow much better than an open stand ensuring the amplifier is allowed to reach a working temperature and thereafter (in auto mode) manages the temperature, switching fans on and off in response to a heat sensor maintaining the right working temperature to help maximise longevity of the product. It is a particularly good aesthetic fit to the Marantz 700 series. Just make sure that the version you order is right for your rack as there are front/rear/top versions and your choice will depend on where you want to vent the hot air.

Protect your AV
Really like this product, fan is quiet and comes on when needed, ie when my Denon is caning speakers galore. It’s very shallow and sits neatly on top.
