I was happy to receive the black version, although either would have been fine. The exterior feels and looks like eel skin. I'm sure it's man made, but it's smooth and sophisticated. The ring mechanism is substantial and it works perfectly for my personal size (Filofax size reference) pages. I would have preferred a magnet for the closure. As someone reviewed earlier, the snap is really tight, so I'm. not using it - don't want to tear if off the binder. From a design perspective, the only other thing I would change, is that I would round the corners, rather than having them pointy. In my experience, those points are the 1st places to show wear and tear - so that would be mitigated by rounded corners.Overall, I'm quite content with the Day Timer quality for price.

I ordered from ACCO Brands; very fast shipping. Product was exactly as I expected, even rec'd the color black liked I had hoped for. I purchased this one for business as my dearly loved personal one with friends and family info was getting way too full with biz contacts/info.I love the undated calendar so I can track/remember repeated yearly maintenance items on our rentals such as pruning/fertilizer dates, HVAC and termite inspections, contract renewals, etc. I ordered extra biz card holders for vendor's cards (this only had 1) and an additional a-z address directory. I plan to use the address directory that came with it for regular address/phone info for contacts; the extra one I ordered to keep track of all the passwords I've accumulated for internet sites--seems you cannot do anything on the internet anymore without having to sign-in with passwords. At my age --memory fails more often than not!!!The zip pouch is really nice and sturdy with an actual zipper to it, unlike the extra ones I ordered which were nothing better than glorified ziploc food baggies. I plan to store my USB drive and PO Box key here.The attached note pad in the back was a nice unexpected touch --I can use it to jot reminders/to do lists, etc.I love this little black book --all my need to know quick details in one small compact place. No more shuffling through cryptic notes scribbled on tiny scraps of paper on my cluttered desk or riffling through overstuffed file cabinets!

I love this size because it’s so convenient and easily fits in most purses. I really wanted black, red, blue, green, grey, pretty much any color other than brown, which is what I received. Since I the one I am currently using is black, I will just continue using it and fill it with the new calendar and pages from this one. You can’t even purchase refill pages for less than the cost of this, so it’s definitely worth the money. Hopefully the next time I order I’ll get a color I like, as the black one I am using is getting worn.

Binder rings are smaller than my previous planners . If looking for a daily planner that holds a page a day . This is not it but if looking for a page a week . Good buy looks nice

I bought this Day-Timer planner to replace my old one. I like a personal size planner because it fits in my purse. The starter kit comes with a nice assortment of everything you need to get started. It would be great for anyone who is new to planning. Everything about this planner is good quality considering the low price. The vinyl is nice, and it doesn't look cheap. You don't get to pick the color of the binder so be prepared to not get what you want. I got burgundy and I couldn't be happier. I want to mention the closure isn't magnetic so it was hard getting it opened at first, after a few days it opens and closes with ease. I definitely recommend this planner.

I have used DayTimer products for many years. Recently lost my zipper-closure model, a d decided to try the strap clasp, Surprisingly, all the contents are contained inside well, with no pages escaping. The construction seems sturdy, time will tell how durable it is.The undated filler pages are not very useful, so I'm using the dated 2-page/week filler. It's a great way for me to stay organized.

Very disappointed in product material. Very flimsy, almost feels like cardboard. Rings open too easy, not enough snap back to hold tight.

The planner is kind of what I expected.The good:Build is OK.It looks nice.It has all you need to get started.The bad:I received a dark red planner even though it says everywhere that it should be black. Quite a bad mixup. If I wanted red, I'd order red.The leather feels somewhat synthetic. I'm not 100% sure it's leather.

Liked...well made. On Schedule. Disliked no dates on pages. December 2018 was missing!!’
