great for small touch-up work
This is a 2000grit sanding block, perfect for leveling out the "blobs" left behind by touch up pens. Fair warning, you can really damage your paint if you're not careful, take it slow and practice on some less noticeable areas first. Do your research on wet sanding techniques and determine if you're up for the job. Other reviews mention only receiving one block, this is true, but unless you're doing major body work you won't need more than one.Use/Tips:I'd recommend soaking it for at least an hour prior to using in a mixture of water/car soap. Go slowly, check your progress often, you want to take as little paint off as you can. The area you are sanding will haze up, but a polish like Meguires Ultimate Compound will clear it up with some elbow grease.

It came out so good that yo need a magnifying glass to find the ...
I used this to touch up a "door ding" after I was quoted $400.00 to refinish the door. I'd never dared use sandpaper on a car finish before. But after watching people do it on YouTube I figured I'd give it a try. It came out so good that yo need a magnifying glass to find the repair. I just bought a 1000 Grit version to have in my toolbox for faster cutting.

Sturdy, long-lasting but for limited applications.
It's use is pretty limited. It maintains ita fine grit surface but can pretty much only be used on convex surfaces. I have better luck just folding the unigrit sand paper for fine detailing work.

Great for sanding off those annoying drips!
Used this on a DIY guitar project. Worked very well with removing drips. The block shape easily prevents scuffing other areas. It's easy to hold and work on a small area at a time. Next time, however, I will go with a higher grit block to remove peskier drips.

Good but going to stick with paper wrapped on a block of wood.
Great little sanding block - gives great feel when doing a second pass on sections I am touching up, but it’s pricey and not reusable.

Works
Worked great to finish a touch up job on my car. Soaked overnight in soapy water and used it to sand out extra touch up paint and then followed up with some 105/205 polish.
