I have a Springer Spaniel. Didn't like being brushed. In fact the only point he could see to a brush was that the handle was good for the odd chew if he could just get it out of my hand. I don't blame him - the brushes I previously used wouldn't deal with tangles and matting. So I bought this one. I'm not going to say he loves it - that wouldn't be true but he is a lot more tolerant about being brushed than he used to be. The brush, having the handle at the top, is much easier to use and control. It deals with tangles and small matted bits gently yet effectively and it's a doddle to clean. There has still been the odd bit of matted fur that has had to be cut out - the trick is to catch the tangle before it becomes matted and standing still isn't in a Springer's nature. But, it has made grooming him much easier. A really good buy.

Great! I was advised not to use this as it wasn’t good enough, but I’m so glad I tried it anyway. It detangles my cockapoo’s coat really well, and he was so relaxed while I used it. It works much better than traditional brushes, I could easily run the comb through his fur afterward. I only wish I had tried it sooner!

Seems to be working to detangle my silky coated spaniel and as it is gentle I have been able to have a go at some small matts on his chest. It is also good in that you can use on damp hair. I have dropped it a few times as it is quite big but not a big issue.

My border terrier loves being brushed with this, when she is in her scruffy and long haired phase! It does a brilliant job

I used this on my mini schnauzer, however, his skin was a bit too delicate for the stiffer plastic teeth. However, it’s ideal for use on my collie stuffy cross making it very easy to help deshed her coat with minimal effort. The shape of the brush makes it much more comfortable to hold and grip it fits nicely in the palm of my hand making a brushing much easier for me. I have chronic fatigue and normally brushing holding a small handle brush is quite difficult for me. this is easy to clean out as well after each use. If this could have softer or more rounded tips for the teeth, it would be great to use on my mini schnauzer, but I’m still going to use it on my collie cross

I got this for my yorkie and i couldn’t use it because it doesn’t open any tangles or doesn’t collect hair since my dog’s hair is so thin. So i still use a classical dog brush for her. I would say it is useless for small dogs which has straight fur. Might be good for the big or curly fur dogs.

I use this brush for the belly and groin area of my puppy. The teeth of this brush are a bit short to use on the dog’s body if you have a long hair dog (mine is a doodle mix). My dog hates metal comb and slicker brush on areas without a lot of hair, but she does not mind this plastic brush. It does detangling the fur but not as efficient as a slicker brush.

I had a different brush before for my dog but it was very hard and my dog didn’t like it at all! This one he absolutely loves because it’s like you are petting him and the bristles are very soft it doesn’t pull at all and it also doesn’t hurt my dog at all. He enjoys being brushed now and it detangles quite easily. My dog has medium to long fur it’s quite soft fur so it tangles easily but this brush absolutely gets rid of all of them without it being a bother to my dog!

Removes loose fur on cat and rabbit. They both totally relax when brushing them. Makes their fur softer and shiny. Well made and so easy to use! Glides through fur with no issues. Good bonding time with pet.
