bis holes so only for large seeds
I go this so I could grow broccoli sprouts. Nope, the holes are way too big for that. Some seeds are large, like sunflower seeds but many are really small so this does not work for mixed seed combinations or small seeds. The trays are nice and my seeds just started to sprout, you just need big seeds.

Works great as a mung bean sprouter but holes are too large for smaller seeds
I have been using these trays to grow mung beans sprouts and I am pleased with the results. Place pre-soaked beans in the white tray with some water on the bottom tray and put the lid on. During first 2 days or so, use water spray bottle (the "bonus" spray bottle was useless; it leaked) to keep the beans moist and the beans will grow roots through the white tray to get water on their own. (Note: The holes in the liner tray are too large for seeds such as arugulas, kale, broccoli, etc. You will need another layer on top of the tray such as moist paper towel or other substrate for growing those.)

Great for growing micro greens
These trays are just the right size for growing micro greens in the amounts I like. Easy to use, easy to clean. Great product.

Easy to use
I love not having to use soil. I've had great success with larger seeds. The only thing is the tiny seed fall through the holes so it limits the types of micro greens you can grow without buying pads.

It is what it is
Meh, it is what it is. It works. The only thing to really comment on is that I wish the tray holes were a wee smaller. Other than that it’s exactly what it is.
