Suncast Overhead Ceiling Mount Wire Storage Basket, Black

I have to say that I was procrastinating on installing these in my garage because I figured it would be difficult to install. I couldn't have been more wrong. I really like how the poles that extend from the ceiling give a little and slip through a collar instead of being hard welded to the bracket. I also like how the only rule is that you need to space the brackets that are on the same stud the distance of the support bar. I picked a know location of a stud and placed my first bracket. Since my studs are 16" apart, I measured over 32" and affixed my bracket to the stud. Then I attached the support bars to each bracket to measure where I needed to attach my last 2 brackets. Super easy.These look great, are sturdy and offer a lot of options for storage. I place them over where my cars are parked!

I also bought a Hyloft brand ceiling storage unit, and while that had a little problem with the screws (no slot to fit a screwdriver, so had to be tightened by hand, with a wrench--very tedious) THIS one was much worse. Brackets that attach downward bars have little pointy appendages that make it difficult to attach to ceiling. I think they were supposed to be hammered into the ceiling, to hold the bracket in place while you screw it into the ceiling, but they still just fall out, and make the attachment process even more difficult. As other reviewers have noted the screws are worthless. My son and I tried for 2 full days to get this stupid thing up, and were never able to do so. The Hyloft unit we were able to get up in a couple hours (way more than the 1/2 hour they advertise, but at least we were able to get it up.) I ended up giving this away, because I had exceeded the 30 days they gave me to return it, which seems a bit short. What an utter waste of $45.

Bought a few of these, great solution for clearing up garage clutter such as things you use infrequently like Christmas decorations and camping gear. Very durable, holds up well, and easy to install. One step of the installation does require two people.

Didn't work from r my purpose. Wanted to use in a shed, I would have had to install 2*4s on the ceiling to make it work.

This is a great rack. It was easy to install and hold A LOT!. It is well-build, and I have no fears of it falling. Good instructions and all parts were included for installing it on the ceiling of my garage. It is holding camping and summer lawn games all in one spot.

Easy to install and works well, although the clips that come with it don't work particularly well. Ended up using zip ties to hold the grate to the bars instead

For the price you can't beat it. It's made well, with the exception of the screws that hold it into the rafters. Do yourself a favor and but better screws at Home Depot.

Good but a bit concerned about the plastic clips that hold the metal rack in place.
