Great Pouch
We purchased the sidekick to use under the arm rest of my 15 yr old son's electric wheelchair. The product arrived sooner than I expected, and was packaged well. We ordered the black one, and it looks nice. My husband attached it to the wheelchair tray attachment bar with ease. The glasses pocket is perfect as he takes his glasses off to take off/put on his shirts and can place his glasses there for safe keeping. The glasses stay in well and seam very secure (as long as the arm rest is not raised upward). The other external pouch is a perfect size for carry all sorts of things - from pencils to notes or other small items. The zippered section is large and can carry many items. The large rings on the zippers are easy enough for him to open and close with his one good hand. There are two zippers - and so he chooses to leave it partially open in the middle for easy access, while preventing most items from falling out.Overall the bag is a perfect size, shape, and quality for us. If this one ever needs to be replaced, I would buy this one again. (We have previously had other bags that we did not like - and this one is much better!)

t is 50/50 for me
I like the pouch. It is handy, has lots of room and I can get things into it. But the Velcro is fighting with it. If I had designed it, I would have put a strap in the middle also. You put the Velcro on the front and back and then when you go through doors and close areas, the Velcro tries to grab things and you can hear it try to pull off, although it hasn't come off yet. I am going to try other ways of attaching the two ends so I can get it to work more properly. Without a center velcro, it tries to buldge out in the center and that is why it is trying to grab onto things. It needs a smooth line all the way across. Basically the concept is a great idea, maybe just the one addition center strap..

Wish it had fit our Quickie2
Great product! Except...there wasn't a way to make it fit our needs. My son has a Quickie2 manual wheelchair with a one-arm drive. We knew that we wouldn't be able to mount it on the outside of the right armrest because he needs to access the drive. He doesn't use his left hand, so our thought was that it would be great on the inside of the left armrest where he could reach across with his functional right hand to access. The pouch was too deep for that idea. We had his occupational therapist work with it, but we couldn't come up with a solution that would work for us. Bummer. It is put together very well. We loved the fleece lined pocket for the sunglasses. The big 'O' ring made the zipper super easy for my son to use. If you are going to be using this product on a bigger chair or hanging from the outside of the armrests we would highly recommend it.

Its the perfect bag for the side of my power chair once ...
Its the perfect bag for the side of my power chair once i modified it. I put corresponding velcro on the arm of my chair, and wrap the strap around the velcro. I have bought 3 of these for two reasons. Main reason, i keep ripping them apart catching it on knobs and such. Sometime I have it sewn together, but eventually just buy another. For the price, its worth it. Wallet, keys, glasses, etc etc it's the perfect size. They all rip, so for what its worth, I keep buying this one.

Excellent Side Pouch...
I got this for my power wheel chair and am very pleased with the quality and function. The soft-lined pouch for glasses or other delicate items is a bonus. I keep my Smartphone in this pouch and don't have to worry about scratches. It's deep enough to hold the phone securely but with ease of access. The large rings on the zippers are easy to use. It has held up for the past year without any rips, tears, or problems. It was very easy to attach as well. The image is a little misleading as its not really big enough to carry a magazine unless you fold the magazine in half long-ways and you don't put anything else in that compartment. I suppose you could put a magazine in the pouch but half of the magazine would stick out. Overall this is one of the best wheel chair pouches I've come across.

It's just ok
This side-bag is nice but the velcro is very scratchy. Normally velcro would not be an issue, but this velcro rubs on the arms or body when one is sitting in the wheelchair.Had high hopes for this bag, but it kind of disappointed. It's still useful, but not as awesome as I was hoping for.My husband needs a wheelchair, and we have two children (5 and 4 months), so we have a lot to carry around with us. We are new to the "wheelchair world", and have tried out a lot of different accessories and chairs - to find out what works best for our family.

Nice pouch but...
I love the pouch but have difficulty getting it to a good position on my wheel chair or electric ecv. I thought it would be an easy fit for me but it seems to lay in weird directions when I try to attach it. The pouch is quality and has a lot of space. I just wish it was more user friendly. ON the wheel chair it has to sit on the inside of your chair or it obstructs the wheel. That was bothersome and on the evc it was just plain difficult to get it to sit correctly on the arm rest.

Indeed, the strap clips are ridiculously fragile
Okay, so reviewers were not exaggerating when they said "the plastic clips broke the first day!" Mine did too. The strange thing is, I thought I was replacing an identical bag that I have used for many years. I continued to get the old one stuck in doorways and in the door of my van as I was going down the ramp. But my old bag NEVER snapped at the plastic loops. Eventually, a week ago, the strap tore out of the bag. I tried to fix it, but was unable. Needless to say, the old bag had much stronger plastic "clips".FYI- to avoid the hassle of returning it and trying again, I found some unused key-rings and used those in place of the clips. I am hoping the rest of the bag is stronger than the clips!
