I've had my other Ossur wrist braces for several years now, and decided it was time for some new ones. This is a different style than my old braces, and really does work to keep my wrists stabilized, but these are poorly made. I bought a pair, and both braces have developed a tear in the same place and won't last much longer.If you need a brace for the sort-term, these might be okay, but if you need something long-term, stay away. Find one with some reinforced stitching around the thumb area, not these flimsy pieces of crap.

Hairline wrist fracture and needed to be in a brace for 8 weeks. I was given this exact one at urgent care and my orthopedic doc really liked it. I got a second one on Amazon because it gets a bit sweaty in the summer. It’s comfy and easy to use. and according to my X-rays, it did the trick.

Sharp edge along thumb

I got this again for my carpal tunnel. My old one was several years old and I really liked it but the thumb web space strap was wearing out. I think this new one seem like it isn't as well padded and soft inside as the first one I bought several years ago, but it works great still to sleep in to manage wrist problems for busy working hands. It is sturdy, I still like the padding and outside supports. It fits well, doesn't rub and has a good thumb opening. I am a hand therapist so I am very critical of carpal tunnel braces.

This is a great race and great value for the money. I am recovering from a wrist fracture and my doctor recommended this name brand of brace and it is great

The wrist support delivered is not the one in all the photos. The bulkier support in 6th photo was delivered instead. The support does seem comfortable but I will be returning the item.
