Was given one of the problematic early model Oklahoma Joe Rider DLX pellet smoker/grills. Everything had been replaced, yet still issues with auger jamming and not feeding pellets. Replaced the motor with this one. Fairly easy replacement, no need to use the grounding wire on original motor. This motor seems stronger and pushes the pellets through without issues. pellets that are a bit larger are just broken up and moved along. Smoker works perfectly now. Will update if any issues occur. So far it is perfect.

This was by far the purchase I could have made , to replace my motor. Easy to install, runs super quiet, and a little faster. I spent a little bit more and could not be more pleased.

2 rpm replacement motor for Traeger BBQ070.The motor installation required removal of l bracket above the induction motor. The 2 motor mounting screws can't be tightened to the bracket because the induction fan was in the way. Otherwise, it was an easy install. Use original Traeger screw/net for motor shaft.Previously, the temperature of the Traeger never got over 420F. Wood quality? No. The new motor had no trouble getting the temp to 500F with several pellet suppliers. Should have replaced the old 1 rpm motor 8 years ago.

I got a VERY bad bag of Pit Boss pellets that jammed my auger and cracked a gear in the gearbox of my Lowe's exclusive Pit Boss 820 PRO. I called Pit Boss and used their videos to remove the motor since the motor and gearbox are packaged together. My Auger is a little torn up, and since Pit Boss does have excellent service, they are sending me a new auger and motor/gearbox assembly. The downside is they don't SHIP for at least 3 weeks. Well I'm fat and like my grilled foods - so I found this little motor and had it delivered within a day. Install was simple - once you've take out the old motor, this is a piece of cake. I am not impressed with the design of the motor mounting by pit boss - it just sits there on this model, but once installed, I installed the covers back and got some Cabella brand pellets!So this motor appears to be at the least a clone of the OEM motor - if not the same MFG. The markers, wires, fan blades, etc. all match what I pulled out of my smoker. The only thing I have noticed is that I hold a tighter temperature window in the 200F or 225F range. I can still get the digital controller to pump out 500F to the digital probe, if you trick it to thinking it never made temp and just have the auger run outright this motor will burn through your pellets and get the temp around 630F for a good steak.So almost all Pit Boss hopper fed Pellet grills use this motor, and it is the same motor as the vast majority of Trager grills. You can feel confident it will work.

So far works good. The plastic plugs wrong one, so had to cut it off and splice old plug onto wires. We wait and see how it works in long run. Installed on a traeger pellet bbq.

I upgraded my old Traeger smoker earlier this year and the motor that came with that kit quickly burned out. I almost did not even try to fix it but I saw this and thought "why not". I am really pleased with this motor. It does not sound like it is struggling (which is what happened before the last motor died). So far it has been rock solid and a handful of long cooks (pork butts). If your pellet smoker motor is struggling (or dead) then I highly recommend this motor.

Worked perfect perfect fit

Nice rest replacement for the original. Original motor had plastic gears and stripped out. This one has metal gears. Be sure to inspect the auger and feed tube for burr’s and other problems that might have contributed to original motor to burn up or strip out.
