Diana Princess of Wales Porcelain Portrait Doll

I was so thrilled to get this Princess Diana doll! I have waited 14 years (since her death) to be able to afford buying this doll. The doll is very tall and the outfit is true to the "Elvis" dress she wore. Beautiful details - beautiful doll!I received the doll in a doll case that was broken during shipping and I am working with the seller to get it replaced. Robin has been wonderful during this whole buying adventure! She emailed me step by step with what she was doing and when I told her about the case she was very upset. I was just glad that the doll wasn't harmed but she went back to UPS and fought for the cost of the case which most sellers wouldn't have bothered with. I would buy from her again and recommend using her to anyone!

Beautiful doll. Unfortunately Diana had a broken finger

Doll is gorgeous. But did not come 38th the crown, rose, and purse as the picture showed. The sellers were difficult and not truthful about the accessories. I loved the Diana doll so much that Amazon gave me credit due to the sellers being difficult and unwilling to work with me.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning doll. I couldn't help, but get emotional when I opened up the box. Princess Diana meant a lot to me and not only myself, but the whole world as well. The closest thing we've had to an actual angel, on earth. Out of all the Franklin Mint dolls of Princess Diana this doll by far looks the most like her (Looks exactly like her.) I am very pleased with my purchase and that's an understatement. The picture does not do her justice. I plan to treasure this forever and pass this down to generations.

I just purchased The Franklin Mint Diana as a collectible. There are some people that will always stay in peoples hearts, long after their deaths, and Princess Diana was one of them (even more so after her tragic death). The doll itself is beautifully presented in a cream colored box with embossing and a clear cover over it. Now, the one thing that I would like different is that the doll is not a doll, it is a statue. You cannot bend her head, shoulders or legs. I was really disappointed in this, since I wanted to move her head in that slightly cocked style she always did that made her look so vulnerable. Her hair is sewn in nicely and styled well. Her gown is a nice fabric and very detailed with individual bead studs along the jacket collar, sleeves and hem as well as all over the dress . She is pained very nicely, soft eyebrows, blue/lavender eyes, individual teeth and long straight nose. She has little earrings, low heels, a silk purse, silk rose and crown. The crown has the tinniest glass studs and larger pearl type studs. She also has her certificate of authenticity and doll stand. This is one of the best and most accurate creations of Diana; though I do wish it was posable.

Item was recvd damaged missing purse missing rose and tiara was bent and missing all jewels item looks like it been played with real hard its a mess what a rip off you should be imberassed to sell garbage
