We have a long house with the master bedroom on one side and the kids on the other side. I was concerned I wouldn't hear a window break on the kids end of the house at night. These were very easy to install and are not large where they block the view outside.They are LOUD. If they go off I can hear the sound wherever I am in the house. They are loud enough that they would wake everyone up out of a dead sleep which is exactly what I want.These are NOT motion activated which is great, they would go off all the time if they were. These detect vibrations. Say someone was trying to break the window or put a screwdriver in the window crack to try to undo the lock. They can easily be turned off by a switch if you want to open the window from the inside without it going off.The sound- As stated it is very loud and lasts for about 30 seconds. Long enough to annoy you if you accidentally make it go off but enough time for it to alert you if it were a real threat.Installation- Extremely easy. You just peel off the back and stick it on the window. It is very sticky so once it is installed, it is staying.Battery: I can't say how long the battery lasts since we just installed them but if we needed to change the battery it is easy. You just slide off the front cover, pop out the battery, install a new one and place the cover back on.You get 4 in the pack and only need 1 per window. This is a cheap buy for great security.

In my house, we have a room on the ground floor where my children sleep. Our neighborhood is a pretty good one with not much crime record but I wanted to get something for additional peace of mind. I have had it for a few weeks now and I am happy with the performance and convenience so far.It is a small disk shaped device that sticks on to your window from inside through the sticker pad. It is pretty thin (less than half inches) and there is an on/off switch plus a battery changing compartment in the front. So Once you stick it on you do not need to remove and put it back for any reason. Besides regular removing and re-sticking may mess up with the sticker's ability to stick on the long term. I would rather put it to somewhere it does not create eyesore (like the middle of the window) but it can be noticed from outside as well.The system does not have multiple parts like some other window alarms (where you need to align two parts to activate a system etc.) This purely works on some sort of a vibration sensor. After installing it and switching on, I tested by hitting the window with various strength and it kicked off after a level. Anyone who uses force to break in through your window would definitely apply at least a similar amount of force. So I found the sensitivity level satisfactory for the purpose.Another good thing is the security sign embedded in the sticker which could be seen outside. I believe that sign does half of the job. If someone is not really after entering particularly to your house then, he/she would not bother blasting a window with alarm.The sound is pretty laud and irritating. Does it scare the thief or get the neighbors to call the police? That I don't know for sure but there is a good chance it does.As a summary, that is not the ultimate security system but it is a cheap device that would add some protection to your house. For the price it is a good deal...

The review of these really depends on what you're using them for... I'm mixed because they're really easy to install, work well, and add a very cheap but nice touch of home security. Especially when you consider the hundreds of dollars and subscription fees from other options, these are fantastic.However, they are overly sensitive and not very loud. I was most excited to put them on our large sliding glass door, but it takes some real effort to close it without setting these off. Also, they're just a little too wide to open and close the door over on the non-opening side.Finally, they're quiet... if you're home you will be alerted reasonably well, but don't expect any neighbors or passing police to hear or do anything. The alarm shuts off and stays off after ringing for 30 seconds. So just know what you're getting and why you're getting it.

Since I am now replacing the batteries after three years figure a good time to say. Still working, on a window in Texas sun. Batteries lasted over 3 years. They are excellent.

If I could give these 10 stars, I would! My boyfriend and I live in an apartment and there is no security system or anything. The back doors lead out onto a deck and the doors are glass all the way down. The back side of the apartment is not facing a busy street and it's pretty hidden and quiet back there, so if someone wanted to break in they could easily sneak back there and break the glass or kick the door in. Our neighbor's door was actually kicked in once when they weren't home and they had some things stolen. So, we did some research on inexpensive alarm systems for apartments and we decided to go with these - and I'm glad we did! Super easy to install - you just peel the back off, stick it where you want it, pull the tab out of the bottom, and turn it on. We turn them on when we go to bed at night. They are super loud, and we can't have any false alarms with these because you have to actually make contact with the door to make it go off. Stomping on the floor or clapping or yelling or the cat running around wouldn't set them off. I had to physically smack my hand against the door frame, which is what would happen if someone were trying to come in. These things are awesome. I would absolutely recommend these for anyone who lives alone or lives in an apartment or in a bad area.

La dos alarmas no funcionan. Estan defectuosas. Hace tiempo compré otras que funcionaban perfectamente. Igual depende del proveedor

Súper bueno, ruidoso y fácil de colocar.

Doy 3 estrellas porque el paquete con el producto fue entregado a una dirección equivocada, a pesar de que la dirección en el paquete era correcta. Afortunadamente, fue a una dirección en el mismo fraccionamiento y la persona que lo recibió lo trajo a la dirección correcta. No entiendo cómo pudieron entregarlo a una dirección que no era. Las alarmas están bastante bien por el precio que cuestan. Funcionan bien y el sonido de la alarma tiene buen volumen. El único problema que yo encuentro es que no son suficientemente sensibles a las vibraciones, tengo que golpear algo fuerte la ventana para que la alarma suene. Me hubiera gustado que se pudiera activar con vibraciones un poco menos fuertes, pero en general está bien el producto.

An excellent visual deterrent, easy to install, tested it by just knocking on the window and the alarm went off. It gives peace of mind knowing that this alarm is installed in the window.
