The wrong size for Lumix batteries
The charger I received has nothing to do with the batteries I ordered it for. In fact it says specifically to only use it with B-(something) batteries when I ordered it for my Lumix Tz1. The battery on the TZ1 is a chunky rectangualr battery. The charger accepts batteries which are roughly 1/5 the thickness and 2-3 times the width of the Lumix battery. I hope I can find a replacement charger because it is really a wonderful camera. Clearly I will not be able to get one in time for my upcoming trip (for which I wanted the camera). This has nothing to do with the size of battery used by the early Lumix cameras. It is on it's way back to Amazon.

Good value for money
It feels like a well made product and it charged my battery as it is supposed to. I did have some difficulty placing the battery in the charger. At first the blue light came on and then with some wiggling the red light came on. It may just take a little practice. All in all a good charger for a good price.
