All 7 cats loved it!
It's hard with both special needs cats and an aging family of cats to find one solution. This appealed to all 7 while removing some of the constant fears a cat owner has while feeding cats food will grains, aflatoxins.

Sad to learn that the Whole Earth Farms has been discontinued. My cats love this food.

Delivery is too slow. Why does it take weeks to get a bag of Cat Food?
Our review reflects the fact that we have been using this product for years. Our cat likes the taste and is thriving. We would like to be able to actually GET the food, however.

My Cat Loves This Dry Food
My cat ate Purina dry food for many years. My 12-year cat preferred it. But we found that she was itching about two months ago. That got worse. It looked like she was getting fleas. But with a collar that it didn't do much. I also noticed that she lost some weight. She started vomiting about once a day or so. I also noticed that Purina changed the bag color. Of course, commercial cat foods typically say, "New Flavor" so that means the product got cheaper somehow. Purina had also dropped their prices at WalMart almost 40% less. I thought that was fishy (not meant to be a pun intended.) My cat was then itching so bad that she was spending at least 18 hours a day. I remembered that I read about corn causing cats caused brain tumors, skin abrasion, liver damages, and dying from corn molds. So I decided to try a new all-natural dry food. So I also didn't want any corn or grains. Since when does any cat eat corn anyway? Corn is just a cheap filler. It's worthless. I researched a lot and decided to see if she would try a new dry food. So I ordered a 10-pound bag of Salmon "Whole Earth Farms Grain Free Recipe Dry for Cats." As usual, cats don't like to change brands. They're always fussy. So she sniffed it the first day. hen she started eating it. I noticed that she didn't eat a lot. But she did eat it regularly. The first day, she didn't vomiting anymore. Within in a week her skin itching stopped. Then she started sleeping about a whole day sometimes. She start gaining back her weight. Her litter wasn't being used as often either. So, she is greatly improved, her hair is thicker, she's no longer miserable, she was begging me to scratch her often and now it has stopped completely. I got her second 10-pound bag yesterday so I'm going to stick with "Whole Earth Farms Grain Free Recipe Dry for Cat" because it's apparently excellent and my cat thinks so too!

Larger then the photo posted.
It looks good but then I'm not my cat but she was sniffing the bag as soon as I got it out of the box that it arrived in, so she would've ate a hole in the bag if it were setting where she could get at it.Though I am not thrilled by how long it took for this delivery as I ordered it on 9/12/2022 and it shipped out on 9/14/2022 from Baldwin Park, CA and didn't arrive until today 9/21/2021 which meant my Kitty was hungry most of the time from Thursday night only eating very little of the Chicken/Turkey, even can chicken/tuna she ate very little as I said before she's a Chicken cat food eater.4/28/2022 Precious enjoys this but she's is over weight because the advertising says made with real Chicken but the Ingredients shows it's First ingredient is Chicken Meal, followed by Turkey Meal which is supposed to be whole Chicken, Turkey, but as a meal both provide less chicken/turkey meat then what she needs to maintain her weight at 10 pounds, so I must now start looking for a better dry kibble to supplement her tuna with so she can't lose a little weight.

When I can't feed raw we trust this grain free kibble, for now
Hate feeding any kind of kibble as we have long been using and advocating balanced species appropriate diet for dogs and cats but with chaos at home, it's available in a pinch and keeps for emergency along with our freeze dried raw.Grain free isn't always perfect especially as we see the big companies making their versions. One dog has a sensitive gut after we fed him Taste of the Wild when we were out of raw just when they had a salmonella outbreak and the recall. He almost died and I had to force feed his raw, High doses of probiotics alternating with antibiotics and beg him to live. This is the only GF kibble I have found that doesn't cause him gas, diarrhea, fur loss and hot spots. On raw he has glowing coat and beautiful condition with a healthy 140 lb size (extraordinarily large Anatolian Shepherd).I keep an eye on the ingredients and signed up for various first alerts for diseases, recalls and outbreaks. I will never trust the other food again and yes the irony that we have fed raw safely since 1998 and the one month I let our raw order slip by and we fed kibble we get salmonella poisoning.I also like this brand as I can change up his protein sources. One bag it's this one, another it's beef etc. Consistant in quality and freshness for a commercial kibble and so happy it's with Merrick based in Texas as so many outsource to Mexico now (where our horses go to be put into rendering vats now including the ravaged wild American mustang).I avoid foods with peas or legumes listed more than once or twice and with pea fiber, useless filler that irritates his gut. So far so good with Whole Earth Farms GF but never let your guard down.

Cats are healthier
I began researching grain free foods when my older cat started having health issues. Once she started eating the Whole Earth Farms, she improved! She was satisfied with a smaller amount of this (she was previously 'starving' all the time - eating constantly). Well she probably was starving, getting no nutrition from those off the shelf dry foods .I tried a different brand of grain free dry food when this wasn't available at my local pet store. My cats did NOT like the other brand. I'm so glad to discover that Amazon sells the Whole Earth Farms brand! It was always out of stock at the pet store; now I have it on auto-ship and don't have to worry.

POTATO STARCH?
"Grain free" means let's load up your pet with potato starch, one of the first few ingredients. I have no intention of burdening my cat's liver and pancreas with such garbage. It's no better than grains. Once I read the ingredients I threw out the entire bag.

well... my cat hates this stuff
i've never seen my cat so pissed off about food - he really hates this stuff, and screams about it at the top of his lungs to anyone who'll listen every time he gets hungry.i think its got him so stressed out that a few days after the food arrived i noticed a patch of hair missing off the top of his head. it's either stress, or whatever's in the food is somehow causing it.either way, this food's a no for my guy.

My Kitten Loves This Brand
I only feed my kitten and two adult cats Whole Earth Farms dry cat food because they love it. I just don't feed them a dry food diet. They also get quality wet cat food and when i have time, food I make myself for them. They always have access to dry food and clean fresh water. They are outdoor cats and they were skinny starving feral cats that I adopted. Now they are living the good life, each with their own insulated house with heated beds for the winter and an endless supply of Whole Earth Farms dry cat food.

my persian loves it
My persian loves this food! She has beautiful hair and has regular bowel movements and when she was pet sat the other cats tried to eat from her bowl. When she went to the vet for an unrelated problem she was given a clean bill of health regarding her diet.I recommend it

Maybe good for kittens
I can't really judge this ... my cat won't eat it after having choked on the very tiny kernels.. imo too small for larger cats, since they will end up inhaling the food rather than chew. Maybe good for kittens. Decent ingredients though. Won't feed to my cat anymore because I can't risk his health from choking.
