Great set for ay skin type
I have excessively oily skin that is acne prone, which at the same time is sensitive and gets flaky as well. I usually stay away from bar soaps as they tend to dry out my skin, and then make the pores produce even more sebum. These soaps are great. As another reviewer mentioned, I have been using the Tonymoly egg soaps (they only come in the white/eggwhite type for shrinking pores and smoothing the skin, and the orange/brown egg made with clay that helps absorb/reduce sebum and tighten the skin and pores) which don’t smell as good as this four-pack from Holika Holika, but have been working great. This set has in addition the black egg which contains charcoal to clean impurities out of your pores, and the green egg made with green tea which soothes and hydrates sensitive/dry skin.I have not found these soaps messy to use. I lather them up in my hands with a little water and then pop them back into their egg crate. I do wear tennis wrist bands on my upper arms to prevent the soap and water from running down them and dripping off my elbows, which happens whenever I wash my face, no matter which type of face wash I use. I also do not find this set expensive in the slightest for what you get. On Amazon.com they are half the price I was paying for them on my favorite Korean/Japanese make-up sites. The soaps provide a lot of lather for a very small amount. I have been using two eggs (white egg for morning, orange egg for night) for three months now, and with my use the eggs aren’t even half used up. I use these soaps as a combo face wash and mask. I lather them on (avoiding the eye area), then let the soap sit on my face for 5-10 minutes before re-wetting and lathering my face back up and then rinse off completely.Over the past three months of use, my skin has become softer and smoother, more even toned, with very noticeable shrinking of the pores in my T-zone, has cleared up my cystic acne and has also lightened both new and old red acne marks. The soaps do a great job of drying up the pimples and getting rid of the white heads without drying out my skin and making it dry and flaky. These soaps are lightly scented, but the smell does not linger on the skin.

these are magic!
Wow, these really are fantastic. They have a really light but intoxicating scent, I haven't tried the Tony Moly eggs but I hear those ones smell like dirt so I just skipped to the top shelf stuff, which is this! The charcoal egg has to be my favorite, because it really pulls the impurities out of my nose pores like no other. The white egg is best for tightening and firming I've found, the green tea has a brightening effect on my skin and makes it dewier, and the red clay is a slightly gentler pore vacuum than the charcoal. But that charcoal egg, that is magical.I rub them straight onto my skin and then scrub them around with a plastic pore scrubber (they look like this http://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Blackhead-Remover-Facial-Cleansing/dp/B0050GPSW4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425748860&sr=8-1&keywords=pore+scrubber) It seems like you didn't get any soap on your face, but if you lather with a pore scrubber it whips up into a foam about the consistency of Shiseido Perfect Whip, which is to say, THICK! And a little goes a long way!My current skin routine is as follows: Shiseido Perfect Whip, one Holika Holika Egg, Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner, Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence, Skin Food Peach Sake Pore Serum, Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Eyes Time Complex Capsules (eye skin only), and then I follow with a variety of lotions which I rotate daily, which are either emolient, contain Vitamin C, or Royal Jelly. It seems like a lot of work, but I went from having a red nose with HUGE OILY PORES and rough, grey skin with a red jawline and dark circles, to having no visible blemishes whatsoever and people constantly commenting on my bright and glowing skin. People ask what foundation I use, but I'm never wearing any when they ask!

Good
A bit messy and inconvenient to use as well as it gives your face and hands a "squeaky clean" feeling that I find a bit unpleasant. Works well though, especially the white and black ones. I liked it but might not rebuy because of the price versus how much I liked it.

A tad drying.
Bought this soaps hoping they would actually serve their purpose but I sadly have to report that they are a bit drying and I cannot see any difference between them they are all drying. But have to admit that all except from the egg white soap smell really good and overall great presentation... just wish they did not dry my skin. Will use then once a day instead of twice and will report back if I see any difference on dryness.

Not as shown
Was so excited to receive my soap. Opened it up and it did not look like any others I have seen. White is yellow and the red and green tea look almost identical.

left my skin looking amazing
I used all four eggs together and I was surprised by how well they worked. My skin looked so clean afterwards! I didn't use any other product before or after because I wanted to see how well it would hold on it's own. I have no complaints besides my skin being a little tight and slightly irritated around my nose, but I'm willing to bet that's more from scrubbing my face after each egg.Charcoal - I used the black egg first because it's a deeper cleanse and gets rid of all the dirt from your pores. I noticed the difference right away.Red Clay - Next came the red egg, which reduces sebum and is a more gentle exfoliant. It had a slight earthy smell which was actually very pleasant, and after using it my face felt way cleaner.Egg White - The white egg is for tightening, brightening and smoothing skin and it without a doubt did all three. I noticed it felt a lot creamier than the other eggs.Green Tea - Last came the green egg which is meant to soothe and moisturize the skin. It had a nice scent to it, not overpowering and it felt amazing on my skin. It definitely moisturized and got rid of the redness on my face.I didn't need to use much soap at all, just a quick rub over my face with an egg and warm water and I had a nice lather. Overall I am extremely happy with these and, after seeing how high quality they are, can't believe how inexpensive they are!
