FastCapSPEEDCLIP Speed Clip Tape Measure Belt Clip and Pencil Holder, 5-Pack

I find it handy to have a matching tape measure (fastcap preferred!) at every big tool in my garage, sure I could carry one around but sometimes I just need to go to a tool and do a quick task and its great if there is a tape measure ready at the same time. I use screws to mount to any wood stands or double sided tape to mount to metal/plastic. These are flexible and easy to store and remove the tape measure. The pencil sharpener is a joke really, not very good at sharpening a basic pencil but it is good for storing a pencil!

Pencil sharpener kinda sucks

Have been using daily for about three weeks now. i used to just hang my tape on my pants pocket, which would start to get torn up. Speed clip eliminates that. The pencil sharpener falls out, but i don't use that or the pencil holder. Clip Only has alittle bit of rash from the tape sliding in and out. i bought five, and gave three to fellow coworkers. All clips are about the same as far as wear, and none have broken. overall worth the price.

It seems to me The creators of the product have never worked in construction or have had a need for this product.The clip needs work, the pencil sharpener is a joke.It only sharpens school pencils, not construction pencils.If you have a new tape, when you retrieve it from the clip it comes loose with the clip and all.

Call it works well but after wearing for 3 weeks 1 broke.

I really thought these would work well, but the don't! I tried clipping onto my Husky tool pouch belt, but every time you squat down, or bend over the entire clip falls off the belt, or the tape measure pops out. Doesn't really work as intended. Might work ok on your pants belt on your hip, but that won't work for me when I'm wearing my tool belt.I did zip-tie these to the legs of my step ladders to hold either a tape measure or to clip my cordless drill or driver to it when up on the ladder. Works well on the ladder, but not on your toll belt.

But on the belt it cuts in pretty bad and slips up and off when in the car, lost many an expensive tape measure this way, bought five more to pin all around the shop though. For my belt bought the Kleins Tools soft one much better

I took a chance on this but am sorely disappointed. I am a novice DIYer. The construction of it is too flimsy and it has fallen off of my belt several times :(.I do appreciate the design concept though. I will be returning them. It did inspire me to make my own! Thanks!
