Chuggington Stack Track Portable Double Decker Roundhouse

Nicely made toy that's big enough to make an impression on younger children and has enough sound and light effects to keep them hooked for quite a while.Easy to assemble and needs only two batteries in order to be fully operational. Not particularly heavy but I'm happy with how sturdy the tracks remain when in full motion and the toy stands firmly on the floor without toppling over. Perhaps not as large as it appears on the advert which is no bad thing as it fits nicely in the corner of a room without taking over all the available space. Older children will have no problems picking up the toy and carrying it around.Obviously, this is an official 'Chuggington' toy and as such there aren't many other toy trains designed to properly fit the tracks. I've also had no luck trying to combine Thomas the Tank train tracks with this set so it appears you can't join them together which didn't really surprise me.You might want to consider ordering a couple of Chuggington engines before the Storm Maker arrives as the set only includes Wilson and his cart and that's why I'm giving a 4* and not a 5* review. A toy in this price range should include at least a couple of Chuggington characters to make it more immediately appealing and interesting for children who don't already own a collection of trains.Wilson and the Wild Wind Storm Maker is a lovely toy with great sound and light effects and one I'm happy to recommend. Younger children will have as much fun dismantling and rebuilding the toy as they will playing with the engines but they will need some help - that's half the fun.

It looks good from the box so can't say anything negative but i couldn't give it 5star as i dont know what its like out of box as its for christmas. But if its like the ice cave playset then im sure my son will love it like that one!

Ordered this for my Grandson to add to the older version diecast track we had. He is delighted with it, loves the way trains go around and down after being levered on their way, especially when the cones bounce off the stand. Then they spin around on the turntable. There are 2 connectors with the new track pack in order to link it to the old track.

This product was delivered with 11 large H-pieces and 12 are required to build it as illustrated. Very disappointing. This sturdy otherwise excellent toy actually says on the contents label and box that only 11 large H-pieces are in the box. Obviously the sellers have never tried to build the product from the contents.

Bought this for our 5 year old grandson, he really loves it, so simple to put together this has kept him amused for hours. He has another track that takes up all the floor space, this one builds up which is great.
