Spyderco who
Yeah yeah Spyderco who is a bold statement, but right outta the box this knife was impressive. The lack of play in the blade when open and the smooth ball bearing system speaks to the craftsmanship of this knife. I had a cheaper smaller version of this hawkbill blade when I was younger. I've been searching for the same blade on a better frame. I have finally found it. I'm a completely satisfied customer and will be purchasing the other blade styles. If you want something that resembles a Spyderco but you won't hate yourself for losing it, here ya go. The honey badger.

No torx wrench provided.
I bought the serrated claw/hook blade version. It didn't include the promised torx wrench.I primarily use this knife in my south-Florida garden where I deal with a lot of non-woody, fibrous plants. This style and size is absolutely perfect for cutting through vines and stringy leaves associated with gingers and banana relatives. At the same time, there's nothing wrong with using it as an everyday knife. Hook blades 'look' nasty, but I find they are generally superior in everyday use unless you're cutting steak or pealing an apple. One minor point... I wish a knife that was at home outdoors came in a bright yellow or fluorescent orange color. If I set it down, it's lost for the next five minutes.Comments on the knife generally... nice build, nice steel, case feels plasticky but is much stronger than it looks. The honeycomb pattern ensures a good grip even when wet or otherwise slippery. The knife odpens very smoothly and easily with one hand. I treat my knives horribly and this one has shrugged off my lack of care so far.

Good purchase
I was looking for a serrated blade with this shape and size. Size of handle provides a full grip. I wish the scales were micarta or g10. These seem a bit slick. Good lock up of blade. Blade is well centered. Very sharp out of the box.

Good quality and action. Light, yet substantial.
General use that involves opening boxes, cutting strings or packing tape. I have yet to use it on my projects involving cutting through plastic but it appears like it could do the job. A good hobby tool and unique in its appearance. A bit pricey, perhaps, but the overall quality and esthetics make up for it.

Large smooth claw
Shipped immediately after purchasing and arrived surprisingly fast. Really smooth operation and nice tight fit I just got it so we will see about durability. I give it a 4.8 out of 5 only reason is because the way the clip sits on the knife won't allow me to carry it in my watch pocket like I usually do if it were .5 inches lower on the knife it'd be perfect 5 of 5

Honey Bader Don't give a-****
This knife is a terrific value. Named after an utterly obnoxious oversized African weasel, this serrated hawkbill knife is an awesome box cutter. The flipper pops it open fast. You would have to be insane to come at someone with this knife in their hand.

Large claw
Well made. Grippy handle. Nice action. Sharp serrated blade. Would recommend.

Item was out of box, inside envelope...
The knife arrived flopping around inside the shipping envelope, outside of the box with the adjustment wrench. Upon inspection, the blade pivot screw was very loose with significant blade play and the blade was scratched a little from its packaging failure. The liner lock was also very thin and tough to disengage.Overall impression besides the packaging mishap: It feels like a gas station knife and $39 seem a bit much especially when other brands like Eafengrow & Ganzo offer budget knives that are far superior to what was sent to me.
