Personal experience and overall quality
My likes about this product is that the material is 30 it is made well. There are a few kinks about this product that I don’t like like the plugs. They are not very efficient as far as keeping the water out any little neck on it can cause it to open and flood water in or leak water in the boat has a lot of kinks or weak spots. As I like to call them where are you can see that it has been folded in the crease has stuck in there and, that could be a potential tear later on where you’d have to patch the boat up . The first boat I bought from the same company was the four person and it came with a tear so big in the bottom that it was leaking. The seller does not allow for refunds, but thankfully Amazon was able to refund me and let me to make the purchase for the six person for this company, so yes, I gave it a second chance and bought an even bigger boat from them even though the first one was nonrefundable and had defective tear but I am very happy with the second purchase. It doesn’t seem to have any leaks. I blew it up. I checked it out. It does have like I said a few kinks or potential weak spots as I like to call them but all in all the second purchase is a great buy. I would recommend other people purchase it , but just keep in mind as I said before that it does have some weak spots and the company does not refund, but Amazon will refund you if it is defective. I like that the product comes with cupholders. I have never seen a inflatable boat with cupholders. Also comes with two fishing pole holders as I am a fisher and love that feature it also comes with a storage bag attached to the inflatable boat itself on the inside, and a battery bag, which you can also use for other miscellaneous storage. It does not come with oars, but I would recommend buying a pair of oars for I believe 28 or $29 on Amazon because at Dunhams they are about that price for just one.

Affordable boating fun
I spent two entire summers in this thing, 3 days a week. Caught a lot of fish, drank a lot of beers, went a lot of places you can’t get on foot. I’ve never owned a boat and this thing let me fish the lake and visit the surrounding shores. And hit some campsites that were boat-accessible only. I got to do everything I would want a boat for, and it only cost me $300. It’s been a few years since my purchase and it’s even cheaper now.Of course it doesn’t fit 6 adults. My 8-person tent barely fits 3. My last AirBnb “sleeps 8” but that wasn’t practical either. It’s just marketing. Surprised so many reviewers knocked this boat over that. I bet if you were escaping a flood or a sinking ship, you could cram 6 in it for a couple hours to survive. What it does fit, comfortably, is two ~200 adults lounging on each end, with a big cooler and a few milk crates in the center with fishing gear. Or you can trade some cargo for a 3rd adult or a couple dogs. I’ve done all these configurations with no problems and no complaints. I’m guessing the reviewer who says they sunk down in it and worried about capsizing was a very large man and not very fit or flexible. No disrespect, it’s just that yeah, if you’re 350 and step down into this thing off the dock like it’s an aluminum or fiberglass skiff, you’ll find it difficult. But if you climb in or scoot your butt in, distributing your weight on arms and legs until you get your butt down in the seat, you could totally weigh 350 and do it. The outer ring of this thing is solid and buoyant and wide, so you can scoot around this raft safely and easily on your butt. The bottom is inflatable, not rigid, so you can’t stand up and walk around in this thing. But that’s what makes it lightweight and compact when you deflate and transport. There are Intexes with hard flooring if you need it, but the flooring is heavy and takes up valuable space if you’re driving to camp. There are also folks on YouTube who made plywood bottoms and swivel chairs for this model, but again it makes it way way less portable.I love mine because I threw it in the back of a mid-size suv along with a ton of camping gear every weekend and it was easy peasy, one person can pack it unpack it, inflate it and launch it. (although it’s way too big and heavy for one person to carry it when it’s inflated. You have to drag it into the water’s edge to launch unless you have a 2nd person to help you carry it down the dock.)Anywho, I came back to see about buying one for a friend and decided to leave my review after all these years. I gave it a 4 on stability and durability and a 5 on value. I would rate the value a 20 on a 5-point scale if I could. I LOVE this thing. Boats are expensive. Boating is not, because of this inflatable.

Make sure you understand what you're getting into
Honestly, I'm pretty baffled by the good reviews of this. Maybe I was just naive in my expectations, but the boat is not useable in its current form. Sure, it looks useable when you blow it up at home. It has a bunch of fancy trimming, a battery bag and fishing pole holders and cup holders and stuff. I'm going to be detailed because this is expensive and you need to understand what you're getting into. All that matters is how useable it is in the water, and it's simply not useable. If you built a hard bottom for it with hard seats like I've seen some people do, then it would be useable. But then it would be even more expensive than it already is (you're paying $200 for this thing, it's okay to be picky), and you're reducing how many people it can hold because you're adding considerable weight to it. Not to mention it takes time and require power tools.I took this out to the lake this weekend, and as soon I was in the water I realized how, at best, this thing would be miserable, but more likely it'd end up capsizing and sending my fishing gear to the lake bottom. Because the bottom is soft, you sink down as soon as you're in water. It's basically impossible to sit comfortably and the inflatable "seats" aren't any help. You can't readjust yourself very well because the boat has nothing firm or solid about it -- you can't put any weight on the wall, for example, and you can't put all your weight on one foot to reposition yourself because you'll start to cause the walls to dip and let water in. Do this experiment: get on an air mattress with your fishing shoes on. Now try to reposition yourself without using your hands (because you can't push on the walls or anything), and imagine that instead of having the floor to provide stiffness, all you have is wobbly water under it. Now imagine the air mattress is only a few inches thick. It's basically impossible.Depending on how heavy you are, you may dip down enough to not be able to see over the walls adequately and paddling becomes a frustrating endeavor. Forget wrestling a fish in, you'll be more concerned about not moving too much. Here's another thing I learned about inflatable boats -- it will probably be a hot summer day when you use it, but the water will likely be considerably cooler than the air. Remember when you were a kid and you left a basketball out in the hot sun? It would seemingly become more inflated and very stiff and bouncy. Take it inside, and it would cool off and go back to its pre-heat stage and feel less inflated. A similar thing happens with the boat -- you spend forever inflating it at the boat ramp, and it gets nice and hot in the sun. It feels nice and firm and ready to go. You push it into the water and hop in, but five minutes later you realize it is getting soft. This is because the water is cooling it down so it reduces the amount of air pressure in the boat, and you going with feeling okay about the air pressure level to worrying that you have a hole. You must have the air pump on you, but it's a huge pain in the a$$ trying to maneuver to the air holes to fill it up while you're on the water. Finally, the boat is not big enough for six adults at all. I'd say four adults is the maximum assuming you don't have much gear and you're all slim and you don't mind being pretty close to each other. Otherwise, I'd say it would be more comfortable with two adults and two kids max.Look, I understand this is an inflatable boat -- I didn't expect it to be the same as a hard canoe or anything. But it does cost $200 freaking dollars, which is not a small amount of money, especially when you have to drop another $30 for a couple paddles or $50+ for a motor. It's not worth that unless you're able and willing to build a hard bottom, at minimum, for it. If you're not willing to do that, I don't recommend getting this boat. The inherent instability of the boat puts you at risk of falling out or falling on the side and letting a bunch of water in, and there's nothing sadder than having all your gear disappear to the lake bottom.I did give it two stars because it seemed like it was attentively made and the vinyl did feel thick. If you're looking for a fishing vessel, though, spend an extra hundred and get a decent plastic fishing kayak. You can even buy tandem kayaks if you want to bring someone with you.

Great Little Inflatable BUT would not recommend
I like it and go out regularly fishing.Combined with a 100Ah Lithium and Electric trolling motor (50 lb thrust ) , it's been fun fishing with, I rated it 6 stars until this Their Customer assistance is very poor. I asked them the capacity of the inflatable (included a screen shot of the identical inflatable from Amazon in my email to them ), They responded 1200lbs, when in fact it is noted on the inflatable 600lbs ????Also, I lost one of the rod holder inserts and wanted to purchase another, They advised me do not sell them ???? And I asked where I could get one, no response????IMHO , They really dont care after they are paid !!!

Works as advertised.
Love the boat, folds up small and was able to handle the lake no problem. Added a trolling motor and am able to zip across the lake just like the big boys. Only issue i had with it was it was a little cramped for room, but 2 of us fit reasonably well.

This boat is not a 6 man boat more like four. They imply that a trolling motor can ...
Be very careful when dealing with this company. They are not upfront about their product. They exaggerate the capability of their product. There is a contact number, however, you only get to speak to the bottom entity level and they have no power to do anything. When you ask to speak to someone in upper management they indicate they will call you back but this never happens. This boat is not a 6 man boat more like four. They imply that a trolling motor can be use with this boat. The motor mount does not allow for space to mount a motor. The design of the boat is such that the handle will not allow for a motor to be mounted. Note once you buy a product from this company you will not get any support from them. I would recommend that Amozon look into this company as it does not meet the standard that has been set by amazon.
