Classic Cat Tree A7005

Bought this after looking at several other cat towers that cost about as much as a nice piece of human furniture. Was a little hesitant to go cheap, but boy am I glad I did. This worked out perfectly. Our cat loves it and it's huge. We live in a city apartment with big windows overlooking rooftops with pidgeons and people walking below on the street. This has become his "kitty hotel" where he hangs out day and night. The only drawback is our cat is a lean 10 pound size and he can barely fit on the top crow's nest. The ridges seem to keep him secure though and his oversize doesn't discourage him from laying up for many hours with his tail or one leg dangling over the side. Also, the tube, little house, and hammock are way too small for full grown cats. The product picture seems to accurately reflect the proportions in my opinion as the white cat seen in the picture seem to dwarf certain pieces. Nonetheless, it's stable, really tall, and great for our cat that loves to climb to the highest point he can and perch. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase, especially for the price point. Spending a half a grand on something similar with alleged high quality touches was a bit much to swallow for a pet, however much we adore him, that is pretty happy laying on just about anything. FYI, it took my wife and I about 30 minutes to put together. The kit includes the allen wrench needed to tighten stuff but other than that it's tool-less like most stuff these days.

I checked out a lot of cat furniture companies before I settled on this particular Armarkat brand. I was a little worried that with such a great price, the product would be a little shoddy, but no! It is wonderful!! The construction on this house is so sturdy! I have had this for almost 2 months. The faux fur covering is super soft and doesn't look cheap at all.The little tunnel fits my 7 month old kitten just fine, but it is only an 8 inch diameter. My 6 year old cat can fit in there, but it's the length of the tunnel that makes it impractical for him (10 inches). He likes to lay out on the middle platform instead.I was also surprised at how much my 7 month old kitten loves the little hammock!! The material it's made out of makes him go crazy, kneading and purring incredibly loudly. He is always in there. And when I spray catnip into the little tunnel, he goes nuts jumping around it and trying to attack it.The rope is cute, but neither cat really uses it. Sometimes they will bite on it from the little house, but it's not quite long enough for them to bat around when they are in the hammock like I hoped it would be.Overall, this is a fantastic product. I've never seen a cat tree of this quality go for such a low price. If you're thinking about getting cat furniture from Armarkat, stop thinking, just do it!!

This tower is actually not too bad. I was a little skeptical when I put it together, it has the tiniest bit of a sway when I put my weight against it and I was concerned about tipping. Dont worry about it, my cats went bananas on this thing and its holding up well. I was really surprised at how well my two kitties took to it. they have tried every feature.The instructions aren't too bad, but nothing special. Its really not too difficult anyway.The tower is huge and seems to be well constructed. The neutral coloring will allow it to blend into most decors that aren't too modern, but thats true for most cat towers. The fabric looks great and is really soft yet it feels slightly flimsy to the touch, however my cat seems to love to bite/claw it and hasn't caused any damage to it yet.I'm really happy with purchase.

We're a multiple cat household, and I liked the idea of all the layers to this treehouse - platforms, hammock, loop - but most of it goes unused. No cat has ever even tried the hammock. It's set up to high for them to understand that it's something for them to climb into, and too small for anything but a small kitten. the loop - or cylander - at the top is too small. Overall, the product is not very stable. When a big cat jumps up on it, the whole thing wobbles badly, so we keep a big armchair braced against it. (Cats don't start at the bottom and when their way up. They leap up on to it at midpoint or higher.) Over all, the different components are rather small. and only the top deck and a platform at about midpoint are ever in use. It's probably adequate for one or two small-ish cats.kk

Our two cats love this tower, they love the platform on the very top that's high enough to be barely in our reach. The fabric is ultra soft and durable. We have had the tower for 9 months and it does not have any holes or tears. The color is pleasant and doesn't stand out in the room. The cats liked the round house when we first got it but NOW they tend to shy away from it - they were kittens when we bought it and maybe they are too big for it now. We ended up removing the hammock because the cats NEVER used it. I think we just have picky girls that do not like confined spaces. The tower legs make great scratching posts that they use all the time. The assembly was EASY and the tower does not sway like others we saw.Overall we are still happy with the purchase and we will definitely buy from Armakat again.
