I really wanted this bin to put on my used Dulce Gusto cups into so I didn’t have to walk dripping cups across my kitchen. For this purpose, this bin is perfect!I have a baby and I’m exhausted all the time. I needed a bin that will take a good amount of pods before I have to empty it out again! I already have the Brabantia ‘Waste Bin for Tea Bags and Coffee Pods’ next to my kettle on the other side of the kitchen but I could only fit a few pods inside it and it didn’t feel big enough for bulky coffee pods. It’s perfect for used tea bags as it’s dimensions are 11 x 11 x 13.5 cm or 1L. This Brabantia ‘Table Bin’ on the other hand is much larger at 14 x 14 x 16.5 cm or 1.5L. This table bin will hold about 24 used dulce gusto cups when full so it’s ideal for regular use. If you’re considering other options, definitely don’t go for anything bigger than this if you only have a coffee once or twice a day, because it will start to smell.I love the brushed steel finish which matches my other kitchen accessories. Matte or brushed steel won’t show fingerprints like shiny stainless steel does and this just looks a little more luxurious and expensive. My kitchen is smart, modern and minimalist so this fits in well with my decor.The top section comes off to make emptying the bin easier and it holds your bin liner in place. You don’t have to use a bin liner but if you choose to, Brabantia sell 3L bags that fit this or you can get medium sized plastic bags from the shops. If you want to use a bin liner, you can, but if you want to be more eco friendly, this is fine without a liner. I have had a bin liner burst, so I can confirm this is watertight. You’ll have to wash it regularly if you don’t use a liner because the coffee and milk pods leak once you use them, so there will be liquid at the bottom of your bin as you use it. In order to wash this, I just quickly hand washed it, but you can also throw it in the dishwasher to save on time and energy.It didn’t come nicely packaged or anything, just in a weird plastic bag. Because there was no box, it was scuffed and a bit dirty once it arrived. I cleaned it up and it’s perfect now but I was disappointed with the lack of appropriate packaging.This feels like good quality. It’s made of durable stainless steel and I can see it lasting a long time. It feels sturdy and well made. Priced at £17.95 at the time of review, this is well worth the price. Buying something from the Brabantia brand, you know you’re getting a good quality item every time. This would make a great gift for someone who has just got a coffee pod machine.Overall, I love this bin and highly recommend

und mit 2 Liter Fassungsvermögen (selbst gemessen) eine Wucht auf dem Tisch, jedenfalls auf dem für zwei. Irgendwie augenfällig. Was alle meine Vor-Rezensenten geschrieben haben, stimmt: Hochwertig, pflegeleicht, alle Teile spülmaschinenfest; sorgfältig entgratet und poliert, keine scharfe Kante ritzt die Beschichtung der Spülmaschinenkörbe. Das Teil selbst ein wenig empfindlich zwar: Fingerabdrücke usw. sind nicht einfach mit einem Wisch zu entfernen, also flott spurenfrei, wie etwa bei Blomus-Produkten und ähnlichen Herstellern, doch akzeptabel.Und - ja nun - riesig. Da könnte man glatt einen Kosmetikeimer auf den Tisch stellen. Zusätzlich eine Plastiktüte drin machte das Bild perfekt. Wohl dezent im Design, weniger dezent im Erscheinungsbild: Kotelettknochen, T-Bones und mehr lassen sich spielend in seinen Tiefen versenken. Spaßig deshalb die Bedienungsanleitung: "diskrete" Abdeckung heißt es da, weil der unpraktische Schwingdeckel durch einen großzügigen Radüberstand ersetzt wurde. Diskretion jedoch erwarte ich vom Kosmetikeimer im Bad, während mir die Diskretion des Tischabfallbehälters herzlich egal ist. Der enthält keine persönlichen Dinge und wird sowieso täglich, wenn nicht mehrmals täglich, geleert.Zum Missfallen hinzu kommt noch der große Aufkleber, der auf dem Boden prangte und sich nur schwerlich entfernen ließ: "Made in China". Ich bin ein Fan von europäischen Produkten, mehr noch, von deutschen. Dafür gebe ich auch gern einen Euro mehr aus. Trotz allem: Ein empfehlenswertes Produkt, das als solches nicht enttäuscht. Für Puristen oder Liebhaber von eher Unauffälligem nicht gänzlich geeignet, doch ansonsten gut.Nachsatz: Diesen Tischabfallbehälter habe ich jetzt eingie Monate - und ich muß gestehen, er hat meine anderen ins Zwischenlager verdrängt. Nach anfänglichen Ressentiments hat er mich restlos überzeugt. Er landete täglich in der Spülmaschine und ist immer noch wie neu, der Deckel sitzt noch perfekt und überhaupt. Die Größe übrigens hat sich ebenfalls als Pluspunkt erwiesen.

Non ce due senza tre e per chiudere il cerchio su questo marchio dopo aver comprato i portabiancheria in acciaio, mi sono buttato per l'accessorio per il bagno e si, a dispetto del classico uso in cucina, l'ho posto su un piano libero e li ci butto principalmente i cotton fioc, salviette umide, e via discorrendo. Il suo sporco lavoro viene svolto egregiamente, d'altra parte anche se in acciaio satinato, ho preferito inserire tra il tappo ed il fondo un sacchetto piccolo giusto per evitare lo sbattimento di dover lavare dopo lo svuotamento, così resta bello pulito e pratico. Rimuovendo il tappo, sfilo il sacchetto con tutte le schifezze e via con uno nuovo. La foto lo fa sembrare molto più grande di quello che è in realtà ma era proprio ciò che cercavo, peccato che non abbiano pensato a dei gommini sulla base per renderlo più ancorato ma anche evitare lo sfregamento su superfici delicate. L'altro neo che mi fa abbassare di una stella è il costo che sebbene includeva la consegna a 22,00 euro insomma non l'ho proprio digerito ma sicuramente con il tempo mi ripagherà con la sua durata spero a vita.

Brabantia. C'est un peu cher, mais finalement, la qualité est là. Pratique a utiliser et nettoyer. L'inox semble de bonne qualité, Aucun point de corrosion n'apparaît après 3 semaines d'utilisation, même en présence de déchets acides. Je n'ai pas toujours eu cette qualité avec des inox moins cher.
